" . . . a sign that very soon, leftist lunatics won’t be running the asylum . . . " Not so fast. After Musk being added to Twitter's Board of Directors, Twitter's management announced that Donald Trump's Twitter account will not be reinstated because Twitter is not run by its Board or by its stockholders.

Rename Twitter the "New Town Square" where all speech is free and not just the speech one likes. Everyone who uses the NTS gets his/her own soapbox to stand on, complete with a Lifebuoy label.

I don't follow anything on Twitter, but I do follow a few sites on YouTube, and see the same things. It's really quite simple, people get busy and don't have time to post after a while. Seen it happen to a number of sites. I have also seen people move to other platforms. If I'm not on that other platform, I don't follow them.

Convert jack dorsey to a homeless person. But don’t let him live in the converted titter headquarters. Let’s see what musk does. I don’t have much of a feel for what he’s about. But maybe he’s a good guy? Here’s hoping. Nor do i really understand what largest shareholder/ board member allows him to do. But he must have a pretty good idea. Most of the board probably just do what management tells them. He’s talking a lot of trash about his new investment, but i guess he can afford it.

Well it is going to be an amusing tug of war, now that Elon Musk has Twitter by the short hairs. Even the former CEO issued a statement of some kind of weirdly worded apology. Jack Dorsey knows what is coming, after all, he created the mess in the first place.

Donald Trump held a rally in North Carolina on Saturday night, but it wasn’t the normal theatrics and hilarity that the former president delivers that made the biggest impression. Rather, it was an endorsement that seems to have come out of nowhere, and I’ll go so far as to say it may be his worst ever (yes, worse than Morgan Ortega) — at least as a Republican politician. Honestly, I know some people take umbrage with anyone ever questioning Trump’s decision-making, but this is truly a head-scratching moment. I’m not sure offering endorsements to people based on them being on TV for a long time is the best strategy.
