Donald Trump said he didn’t say it. Mo Brooks said again that he did. The former president disputed he told the Huntsville congressman he wanted him to work to remove President Joe Biden from office, according to an interview Trump gave to The Washington Post. Such action, Brooks said Trump believed, would facilitate Trump returning to the White House. “I didn’t ask him to do it,” Trump said in an interview Wednesday with The Post. “He’s in no position to do it. I certainly didn’t ask him to do it.”

Trump is not a coward. How he stands up to all these lies is above me! Any other person s would have bowed out & gave the party to fake republicans...Mueller, 2 fake impeachments, J6 one sided investigation..typical dem reaction ... throw mud... if it sticks... well...in not ... at least they tried.

I believe Trump here. He might have told Brooks to stand firm against the obvious fraud. Brooks was in no position to do anything more than many of his collegues did; decry the Steal. Even if Trump said something out of frustration, that truth remains. Brooks had no power to act as he claied Trump wanted him too. Brooks has lost my trust.

Who knows what fraught, desperate words were thrown around during that anxious time. Remember! We were watching an election being stolen before our very eyes, I was throwing around hot, intemperate words myself at the outrage being inflicted on our President. And on ourselves. Anything said during those overheated, desperate days is forgivable, especially since they were just words.

Well Mo ..you just crapped in your nest! I watched you stand up at a rally and say to forget 2020 ,look to future. And got booed. That was after Pres Trump endorsed you. Who the hell are you to tell Trump supporters what to do. Trump did the right thing and unendorsed you. Back stabbing little POS... There are way too many RINOS in the Senate . You are not needed.

FTA: “ “In numerous conversations after September 1, 2021, the president keeps bringing this issue up,” Brooks told AL.com last month. “And he wants me to rescind the election.” Trump wants mo to rescind the election and mo says he can’t do it? That’s absurd. By what possible mechanism could it be done? The claim is absurd on its face- right up there with vindewoman’s claims and the Steele dossier claims. Of course mo goes to the wapo to sell his absurdity. Desperation no doubt. Too bad.

Both men have no disagreement that the 2020 election was stolen in a massive act of illegality. Brooks' contention is that once the results are certified the Constitution does not permit their rescinding and you have to accept them for the duration. The fear being that once you cross that Rubicon, next time someone might try to change legal election results after certification. Where do you stop? Trumps' point (not a minor one) seems to be that at this rate you would accept George III's claim to divine right to rule. What means do you have to prevent such a theft if this one goes unpunished. The current answer is a big silence.

Even if it were said and was possible and he removed Biden... it would not help Trump return to office in any way. Makes no sense.

All I know is this. If Trump says he didn't say it, he did not. Trump might not be a politician, but even he knew that Brooks was not in a position to do anything like that. So he would not have wasted his breath. This is all because Trump has rescinded his endorsement of Brooks. That must have stung like the dickens.

Newly released video from the West Terrace tunnel of the U.S. Capitol provides more details on the collapse, beating, and death of Rosanne Boyland on Jan. 6, 2021. A three-hour video unsealed in late December in a Jan. 6 federal criminal case shows the 34-year-old President Donald Trump supporter entered the tunnel, was pushed back out, fell, and was struck by police before her lifeless body was dragged into the Capitol. Boyland’s sister and a New York attorney question the District of Columbia medical examiner’s finding that Boyland died of an overdose of a prescription medication she took for attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder.

The U.S. Constitution is the sacred text of American government and civic life. But it’s time to face facts: The document, written in 1787, isn’t working. The signs are all around us. Just 38 percent of Americans in a recent Gallup poll expressed either a “great deal” or “quite a lot” of confidence in the presidency, down from 48 percent in 2001. Congress, never high in the public’s estimation to begin with, fell from 26 percent to a mere 12 percent. The Supreme Court has also taken a hit, down from 50 percent to 36 percent during the same period.

National Review’s Kevin Williamson is urging conservatives to divorce, or at least, separate, for a time, from the Republican Party -- that is, from the Donald Trump-led Republican Party. In a recent column, Williamson claims that what he calls “sensible conservatives” twenty years ago or so “could take a realistic, instrumental view of the GOP and find it reasonably useful for our ends.” But not today. Not when the Republican Party consists of “vulgar” populists and “infantile” nationalists who loathe free trade, free speech, the U.S. military, and libertarians.

Last week Cook Political Report posted an analysis of the House midterm election which said “Both sides see the possibility of a Red Tsunami in 2022.” But the rest of the Cook piece argued that because of redistricting changes 2022 can’t possibly equal a tsunami like the one in 1994 when Republicans won 54 seats. There are simply not as many competitive seats in the House as there used to be. So the author ultimately predicted a more modest wave: Every metric we use to analyze the political environment — the president’s approval rating, the mood of the electorate, the enthusiasm gap — all point to huge gains

Such felonies carry a penalty of up to 10 years in prison for medical practitioners, Politico reported. The legislation would ban medical treatments done for the purpose of changing a child’s appearance or affirming his or her gender identity, including drugs that halt healthy puberty; cross-sex hormones; surgical sterilizations such as castration, vasectomies, and hysterectomies; cosmetic genital reconstruction surgeries; and removal of healthy body parts.

Very often, when companies go woke, it turns out that the wokeness is a cover for changing market forces. That is, they're not alienating traditional demographics; they're reflecting that their money is coming from new demographics. When it comes to Hollywood and the NBA, for example, the big bucks are coming from China, not America. And when it comes to Disney, the main profit center isn't children; it's young adults who, Peter Pan–like, refuse to grow up. The brilliant Daniel Greenfield makes this point in an article entitled "Disney's Business Model is Turning Kids into Dysfunctional Adults: Its customer base isn't kids. It's messed up adults."
