Almost 300 people were buried in a mass grave in Bucha, a commuter town northwest of Ukraine’s capital Kyiv, its mayor said Saturday, after the Ukrainian army retook control of the key town from Russia only to find corpses strewn throughout the community.“In Bucha, we have already buried 280 people in mass graves,” Mayor Anatoly Fedoruk told AFP by phone. He said the destroyed town’s streets are littered with corpses. In one residential street, the bodies of at least 20 men in civilian clothes were found strewn over an area of several hundred yards.

I wonder if this is true. I have lost the ability to believe the press that makes it through the censors. Welcome to 1984. It is like listening to the parents on an old charlie brown holiday show.

It's just like those Ukrainians to kill their own citizens so they can blame Russia... For them it's just fond memories of WWII.

Ugliness. Perhaps this could prompt Russian generals to try to quit this war before they're all summoned to the Hague to be tried, in person or in absentia, for war crimes.

Hey, folks: this is what a war looks like. Civilians get caught in the crossfire. Russians have always been indiscriminate about killing civilians.

#4 kindly recall Putin denies there is a war underway. And a question. Are you saying you believe our soldiers behave like this? They do not. And that is due to the care of people who take the time to be just, sort things out, and punish wrong. Looking away is how to let evil grow.

I don't understand the mass graves. Don't they know the names of the dead, and why would they NOT want a decent burial for their loved ones?? Something very strange in the matrix.

I can understand how the civilians die. Indiscriminate shelling of towns and rockets that don't go exactly where they are pointed are going to kill whatever is on the ground. I would surmise that the Ukrainians are burying their own dead in mass graves. What would you do if half your town was leveled? In the Middle East wars, American soldiers died due to rules of engagement that overly protected civilians, which was a mistake because the civilians hated us too and would pick up a rifle without question to kill Americans. Going door to door to pick out combatants from civilians is not the safe way to play the game.

And people who have never been to Ukraine, never met a single Ukrainian, now shovel out hate against Ukraine and Ukrainians, and LOVE that "wonderful guy" Putin. This is sick.
Having spent years developing and managing research and development projects in both countries, spent weeks at a time, for years, and I can tell you that there are many good people and friends in both countries. But, I can also tell you that the Russian leadership is vicious, murderous in the extreme, and they execute people who publicly cause them any problems. Two reporters were executed in public, in Moscow, while I was in Moscow, by hit men, for news reports highlighting Putin's corruption.
I never saw anything like that in Ukraine. The only violence was when the Russian snipers shot people down in Independence Square (Maidan) working for the failing Russian puppet president Yanukovich in the last couple of days before he fled back to Russia, where he now lives. There was a months long peaceful protest in the Maidan....until the government snipers, said to be Russians by my friends in Ukraine, started killing people in the crowd.
The vicious hate that some posters spew is disgusting.
