A man jailed for just 14 months after he dragged an NYPD detective in a stolen car, leaving him paralyzed, has been caught once again after leading cops on a chase in a stolen car—while being out on bail for a separate car chase. Justin Murrell, 20, led officers from the Port Authority on a chase in a stolen car at John F. Kennedy Airport in February. The stolen car was found days later and was linked to him through surveillance video, which captured him allegedly stealing cars at both New York's LaGuardia and JFK airports. Murrell was arrested on Monday as he left a courthouse in Brooklyn.

Who is served by anything short of placing a bullet in this person's skull after a speedy trial? FTA: "The latest car chases around JFK and his previous pursuit in May 2021 were similar to the one that altered Detective Dalsh Veve's life forever. Veve had been responding to reports of gunshots in June 2017 when he questioned Murrell, who was 15 at the time of the incident. Murrell slammed the gas pedal and dragged Veve down the street for two blocks at speeds of up to 60mph. Incredibly, Veve survived but was left wheelchair-bound and unable to speak. At Murrell's trial, a jury found him guilty of assault rather than attempted murder on which prosecutors were hoping for a conviction. He was given a sentence of 1⅓ to four years at a juvenile detention center."

That cop is going to spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair. His care is going to cost society millions of dollars. His life, and those of his family have been shattered, yet this piece of subhuman garbage gets to walk the streets. When are we gonna learn??

So tell me again. Why should we care about NY? They have done this to themselves and I see no change in voting habits that might reverse the consequences of prior stupidity. I don't want to say 'To hell with them' but how deep a hole does someone have to dig before they realize it is time to climb out?

Perhaps they were too harsh on him the first time. Recommend a safe driving course, maybe some anger management sessions.

Gilbert & Sullivan said it quite concisely:
“My object all sublime
I shall achieve in time —
To let the punishment fit the crime —
The punishment fit the crime;”
Western society cannot function without the Rule of Law and appropriate
Punishment for breaking it. Society is the loser as those who espouse
lightweight “Progressive” treatment from behind gated communities.

attention, Captain America, Eric Adams, your city is crumbling and you obviously have no idea, as long as you can still buy your $5,000.00 suits and ties and turtle necks and other accoutrements to compliment your wardrobe!!

The damage done to NY State by demonrats is absolutely appalling. None of them should be elected come Nov. They're all communists.

This is not a complicated issue. Individuals are going to do whatever they can get away with. Some will commit petty crimes but there is a whole group and it is growing by leaps and bounds who are psychopaths. They have no regard whatsoever for human suffering. We are witnessing the growth of this group because they are not being held accountable for their actions. As long as we ignore these acts and continue to give these individuals breaks they do not deserve, we will get more senseless violence in return. Apparently, the leftists in NYC are fine with this development. The rest of the country can’t help you out until you decide that your personal safety and that of your family is important enough to make a change in the way you vote. What you are doing now is an abject failure and you will continue to suffer for your foolishness. Your apparent unconcern is a direct results of the decisions you have made and the rest of us have run out of sympathy. As they say, not my monkeys, not my circus.

There should be a way to charge Judges as accomplices who let violent asshats like this out on bail.

People who live in Democrat hell holes must take justice into their own hands, at this point. Because of Democrat policies, the police are protecting the criminals more vigorously than the average, honest citizen.
It is second amendment time.
You live under tyrannical leaders who are using criminals to beat you into the dirt. Don't depend on police. Do something.
A couple odecades ago, in a small community, there was a big bruiser of a man who did as he pleased, legal or not. He assaulted people, he raped, he vandalized, he stole. And anyone who reported him to the police had lethal accidents.
Then one day, the police got a call. Big Bully Bruiser who had terrorized the community for years was sitting in his pickup truck, dead, from several rounds of buckshot at point blank range. Police asked around. Did anyone see anything? This was murder after all.
But no one had 'seen' a thing. They all kept their mouths shut, and went on with their lives, bullied no more.
1. You didn't see anything.
2. Have iron clad alibies.
3. Clean up properly.
4. Start with the most agredgious offenders and make in graphic. Ranchers used to warn off attacks on their herds by hanging dead predators around the grazing lands. This is the same thing.
If the police won't or can't do their jobs, you have to step up. For your families' sakes.

All I can hope for is that the proponents of NO justice end up being victims themselves.

Meanwhile, the victims of this little monster are sentenced to life with their health problems this monster caused. What the liberal legal system refuses to acknowledge is that these teens can do the same horrific and vicious crimes as anything their older compatriots can do. Sometimes even worse. There should never be anything like excusing crimes against others just because the monster is a teenager.

Jerk Adams will look into the matter. He is very busy right now, having another tacky suit made for himself. He could not possibly be seen commenting on this matter in one of his 195 old suits.
