As some people have now been vaccinated for more than half a year, evidence is pouring in about Covid vaccine efficacy. When evaluating vaccine efficacy, it is important to distinguish between efficacy against infection, symptomatic disease, and transmission versus efficacy against hospitalization and death. For infection and symptomatic disease, the COVID-19 vaccines are not as efficacious as hoped, (snip)
Here I summarize studies and reports that shed light on vaccine induced immunity against Covid. They highlight the problems with vaccine mandates that are currently threatening the jobs of millions of people. They also raise doubts about the arguments for vaccinating children.

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) was among the bipartisan group of signers of a March 16 Sunshine Week letter to Comptroller General Gene Dodaro declaring that the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) “is crucial for ensuring transparency and accountability in government, but persistent challenges continue to limit citizens’ ability to access information under the statute.”
(snip)
But, as Sen. Charles Grassley (R-Iowa), the top Republican on the judiciary panel, made clear during the first day of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s Supreme Court confirmation hearing, private citizens aren’t alone in having trouble getting government agencies to produce copies of official documents the FOIA requires to be made public.

Again, it must consistently be repeated – trust nothing from western or Russian state media about the issues in the Ukraine conflict. Everyone is shaping the war narrative to fit their agenda. Question everything you see and hear, wait to get the fulsome picture, and eventually the truth will surface.
An example today follows a U.S. and Western media claim that Russia arbitrarily targeted a shopping center in the capital city of Kyiv (Kiev). According to the narrative, this is an example of Russian military brutality and arbitrary shelling of civilians. Dr. Anthony Fauci’s comparison of Great Barrington Declaration authors and signatories to “AIDS denialism” was “utterly shocking,” one of the authors says.
“In no way have I or any of the signers of the Great Barrington Declaration denied COVID. COVID is a deadly disease. It’s killed millions. It in particular is a danger to older populations,” Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, an epidemiology professor at the University of Stanford, (snip)
“The reason that we proposed focused protection in the Great Barrington Declaration is because we take COVID very seriously and that there needed to be much better protection of older, high-risk people,”

Pablo Picasso once said, “Learn the rules like a pro, so you can break them like an artist.” Under this standard, the Supreme Court confirmation hearing for Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson could prove to be a masterpiece.
It may depend on the application of two rival rules or models for such hearings. Notably, both were crafted by Democrats, during the 1993 confirmation of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, then, during the 2020 confirmation of her replacement, (snip)During Ginsburg's confirmation, then-Judiciary Committee chairman Joe Biden told her that a confirmation is where a nominee is expected to "answer questions or to discuss your judicial philosophy.”

If Western universities were not brimming with leftist professors, the present situation in Ukraine would surprise no one. History would have taught us that the complete destruction of Nazi Germany was bound to clear the way for Soviet Russia’s domination of the Eurasian continent, although not going for total victory would hardly have been a vote-getter back in 1945.(snip)
The H-bomb(snip) has encouraged aggressive types to wage war knowing full well that opponents might feel reluctant to commit suicide. In fact, the bomb has increased limited wars, as they are now called. What I find funny is that we the West provoked Russia by bringing into NATO Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania,

For the last five years, the Left—defined as the fusion of the mainstream media, Silicon Valley, the radical new Democratic Party, and the vestigial Hillary Clinton machine—has crafted all sorts of conspiracies to destroy their perceived conservative enemies.
Their method has focused on one major projection: alleging conspiracy on the part of others, which is a kind of confirmation of their own conspiracies to destroy their opponents in general, and Donald Trump in particular.
Now they have been caught admitting to such nefariousness. Apparently, they still are exuberant about their slick shamelessness and simply can’t keep quiet. Or they believe radically changed conditions, such as the implosion of the Biden

A prominent Chinese American dissident was recently arrested in New York City, accused by the FBI of working as an informant for Chinese intelligence for 17 years.
Wang Shujun, 73, of Queens, was one of five defendants charged in separate cases unsealed on March 16, that federal prosecutors said were part of the communist regime’s broader campaign to harass, intimidate, and spy on overseas Chinese dissidents.
Two of the defendants, including Wang, allegedly worked for the Ministry of State Security (MSS), the Chinese regime’s top intelligence agency. In recent years, individuals associated with the agency, including hackers, spies, and company insiders, have been exposed by U.S. authorities for espionage activities.

Representative Adam Kinzinger has a message for Israel, threatening U.S. support if they do not get into line and support the NATO objectives in Ukraine: (Source)
Akin to: ‘Nice Jewish homeland you’ve got there Israel; it’d be a shame if something happened to it.’
Kinzinger will likely win increased support, as if he didn’t already have it, from the far-left progressive movement who hate Israel. However, as people start awakening to the reality that the U.S and NATO alliance have now aligned themselves with the ultranationalist Nazi’s in Ukraine, there might be a modicum of pushback from the Orthodox Jewish community.

A coroner in the United Kingdom has determined that a woman died from a side effect caused by the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine.
The woman was identified as 34-year-old Kim Lockwood, who had complained of a headache eight days after taking the shot in March of 2021, South Yorkshire Coroner Nicola Mundy told the BBC in a statement on March 16.
The coroner said her condition quickly deteriorated, and she was pronounced dead 17 hours after being admitted to the hospital, eight days after getting the shot.

In the late summer of 2016, Stefan A. Halper met with at least three of Donald Trump’s associates in England and the United States, bragging about his friendship with Russian spies who “can be very helpful to us at this time.”
As they listened to his tales of foreign intrigue and promises of illegal foreign help, what George Papadopoulos, Carter Page, and Sam Clovis did not know was that Halper was not who he said he was. He was, indeed, a spy, but his handler was not the Kremlin – it was the FBI.(snip) Halper had been tasked by the bureau with finding dirt on the Trump campaign.

Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense on Sunday claimed that Belarus is preparing its military to invade Ukraine before warning Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, an ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
There are “signs of preparation” that Belarus will carry out the “direct invasion of the territory of Ukraine,” the Defense Ministry wrote on social media, according to a translation. It did not provide evidence for its claim, nor did it provide other details.
“The direct involvement of Belarusian troops in Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine, against the will of ordinary soldiers and the vast majority of the Belarusian people, will be a fatal mistake for Alexander Lukashenko,” the ministry added.
