Memphis, Tenn.—Memphis Police have arrested a man accused of shooting three children outside of a Whitehaven library on Thursday. Javontay Paige has been taken into custody for three counts of attempted first-degree murder, possession a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony and being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.(Snip)MPD says Paige knows the three victims, one of them, who family has identified as 11-year-old Broderick Smith, is still at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in critical condition. “It was devastating because he’s only a kid,” said Quinteshala Smith, Broderick’s Cousin. Smith got the news shortly after the shooting,

Comments:

"Youth crime" is the topic of the hour in Memphis, but maybe it's more of an educational issue. A liberry is not a shooting gallery, and convicted felons are not allowed to have guns, and also are not allowed to haul off and shoot people.

OP, whether certain offenses are "allowed" depends largely on the "wokeness" of the PD and the DA's office. How does Memphis score on these points?

Out of control feral blacks encouraged and excused by the left and the Democrat Party. They are not intelligent enough to know how they are are being used for foolish political ends by a party that’s doesn’t care if thousands die in their own communities.

A Florida police chief has been given the boot after an investigation found he engaged in discriminatory promotion practices, and remarked “that wall is too white” when looking at pictures of the department’s command staff. Larry Scirotto—who took over the Fort Lauderdale Police Department in August—was fired by the city manager on Thursday, according to a press release. The report followed several discrimination complaints that alleged Scirotto, 48, made hiring and promotion decisions with an illegal race-based approach. Scirotto, a former assistant chief in Pittsburgh, became the first openly gay chief hired in Fort Lauderdale last year. He is of mixed race.

The mass migration lobby, with deep financial ties to billionaire George Soros, is praising President Joe Biden’s beginning stages of opening a refugee pipeline from Ukraine to the United States. As Breitbart News reported, Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas announced that about 75,000 Ukrainians in the U.S. will be able to remain in the country and secure work permits for at least 18 months under a Temporary Protected Status (TPS) designation. Nearly 30,000 Ukrainians are illegally in the U.S. and could be eligible for Biden’s TPS. A host of Soros-linked mass migration groups had been lobbying Biden to open a refugee pipeline from Ukraine
