On Thursday, Melinda French Gates, who is Bill Gates’s ex-wife, sat down for an interview with CBS’s Gayle King. It was fascinating to see how adamantly and completely Melinda distanced herself from Epstein and the nature of Bill’s friendship with him. I couldn’t help wondering if she isn’t worried about something regarding Bill’s relationship with Epstein. (snip) The most interesting part of the interview (of course) was about Bill’s friendship with Jeffrey Epstein. When the story broke last May, the world learned that this was a very close friendship. Bill was often at Epstein’s New York townhouse, crying on his friend’s shoulder about his “toxic” marriage to Melinda.

Suddenly, a host of stories has appeared in conservative media that try to rally support for Vladimir Putin because he is allegedly fighting Nazis and the New Word Order in Ukraine. There is a certain symmetry to the notion that the spokesmouth for the failing Biden administration reportedly is being assiduously courted by the two failing cable news networks, CNN and MSNBC, both of which have endured near-catastrophic ratings declines in the era of Biden. To the New York Times’s manifest despair, it seems that there is no evidence of an actual crime. Things are so bad that two of the lead prosecutors on the case quit when the District Attorney expressed serious doubt in the case.
