Cloth masks do little to prevent the spread of COVID-19, or other airborne diseases, a new study finds. Researchers from the University of Bristol in the United Kingdom found that 90 percent of particles could get through cloth masks, making them effectively useless during the pandemic.(Snip)Now, though, experts have discovered that these masks were doing little if anything to actually stop the spread of the virus, and likely contributed to spread as people who believed they were acting safely were not doing so. Researchers, who published their findings Tuesday in Physics of Fluids, built an airflow simulation using 3d imaging to gauge how well different masks

Comments:

Masks were effective beyond the government's wildest dreams insofar as they served as de facto burkas, allowing the wearer to demonstrate full fealty to The Science and greasing the skids for later accepting the dangerous and ineffective fraud shots.

Not so of all who wear masks, #1. There are some who must wear masks because of compromised immune systems due to cancer and other illnesses. People in that category were wearing masks well before Covid. It is unfortunate that any have to suffer for doing what preserving their health demands, whether wearing a mask or refusing a vaccine.

I have to wear a mask at work sometimes to filter out fertilizer dust. The mask is an N99. I had to be test fitted by a health professional to get the proper size and learn to wear it correctly. The test involved using a device which measured the vacuum pulled when I inhaled and the positive pressure when I exhaled. This guaranteed no leakage around the mask and that all air was filtered. It is much harder to breathe through a mask that actually works. If you can breathe normally, the mask is not doing anything.

From Quora.com https://www.quora.com/What-is-the-size-of-the-Covid-19-virus?share=1 “The size of covid 19 is about 125nm (0.125 microns).” From SafetyandHealthMagazine.com https://www.safetyandhealthmagazine.com/articles/20459-osha-updates-faqs-to-address-particle-sizes-and-n95s “The “N95” classification means respirator filters remove at least 95% of “very small” particles (around 0.3 microns in diameter) from the air.” ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ My comment is that despite all good intentions, masks are not capable of stopping a virus due to the physical size of the virus and filtration capability of a mask, especially an N95 mask.

I see a lot of elderly people still wearing them and I feel like telling them that it is bad for their health but I know it will just stir up an argument or bad feelings, so I don't.

Masks never should have been forced on us. If your mask works, I don't need to wear one. Kids never needed them given the data about kids and covid. Forcing people to wear masks created ill feelings. Maintaining it for two years intensified those feelings. You want to wear a mask now, be prepared to reap those feelings. Including from me.

Intercepted ballots, forged signatures and questionably high voting rates plagued Wisconsin’s nursing homes and other long-term care facilities during the 2020 presidential election, a state-appointed investigator said. In light of the findings, the investigator said, the ballots from those facilities should be audited. The special counsel’s report was issued Tuesday after an examination of 2020 election integrity. It said Wisconsin officials ditched legal requirements for supervising nursing home ballots during the pandemic, encouraging widespread voter fraud. The 136-page report includes eye-popping data of voter participation at dozens of nursing homes and residential care facilities in five Wisconsin counties.(Snip)The results, Mr. Gableman said, showed “absurd results

Merseyside Police were today hunting a group of at least four people after the attack just after 5.10pm last night in Toxteth, Liverpool. A 21-year-old man who later presented himself at hospital with a gun wound to his hand was subsequently arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
