Kevin uses one word to describe the first days of the protests in downtown Ottawa: torture.
"Literally there was trucks right underneath me," said Kevin, "It was one thing for me, but I've got animals. I've got three cats, two dogs. So yeah, it was torture." (Snip) The trucks have since been removed, with police pushing the majority of protesters outside of the downtown core over the Family Day long weekend. Even still, some downtown residents say they're haunted by "phantom honking" — what sounds like blaring truck horns, but no actual sounds are there.

Soy boys need to grow a pair.

Sounds like people need to go buy some CO2 air horns like people have for boats and remind people in a peaceful walking protest.

Is the whole world gone totally mentally ill?!?!?!?
If you are hearing horns that aren't there, you either need to have your hearing checked, or see a therapist to find out why you are crazy!!!
But given that these are the same people that elected Adolf Trudeau as their dictator, and will probably re-elect him, I'm guessing the correct answer is crazy!!!

Oh, get over it! It’ll be gone after a couple of weeks. What these tender souls couldn’t stand is the sound of freedom!

Soon they'll name a honking disability to account for it, like a phantom pain felt by amputees. The cure will include some form of Truck Fudeau.

This is a 'CBC' article ... they are the government controlled broadcasting 'tool' of the Liberal and NDP 'coalition' running (ruining) our country here in Canada ... CBC should be ashamed of themselves .. totally misrepresented the protesters and lied to the Canadian public ( who pay their salaries) .... I will never believe anything, ANYTHING, they ever say on their network or 'news' site again... I'm ashamed of how they have tarnished who we Canadians are ... thank you Truckers Convoy for the unintended gift to Canada of exposing in stark view the corrupted media we have been living under for decades ... God bless the Truckers and their families...

You have a whole dictator ruling in Canada, and this is the best story you could find to report on, Nickie. Seriously?

With talk like this I fear Western Civilization is doomed. Some people in other countries do not have the privilege of hearing a honking horn, they are too busy listening to rockets explode right next to them. Grow up Canucks! Look around you. You are living a life others would love to live. Be thankful that the Truckers stood up to your totalitarian soy boy.

"Phantom honking" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. When I lived in Manhattan (on 2nd Ave between 27-28th St) there was honking and street noise at all times of day and night - even between 1-3 AM. You get used to it.

I've heard 'paranormal researchers' claim ghosts might be 'echoes' of traumatic events imprinted on physical objects and places.
The honking may go on for decades or even centuries, in that case.

Boo hoo hoo. I still hear the horns! Why won't they ever stop? First world problems, eh? Hypothetically they could grow a pair, but most are trying to divest themselves of the under used pair they already have.

Far better to live under the thumb of an immature, french, good-haired, little boy dictator than hear a truck horn. Of course, hearing things that are not there is also a sign of insanity.

Will a government check for trucker horn PTSD help. The only real cure might be the total absence of any trucks in Ottowa for 6 months.
