The trucks have left Ottawa, but 'phantom
honking lingers for many downtown

Kevin uses one word to describe the first days of the protests in downtown Ottawa: torture. "Literally there was trucks right underneath me," said Kevin, "It was one thing for me, but I've got animals. I've got three cats, two dogs. So yeah, it was torture." (Snip) The trucks have since been removed, with police pushing the majority of protesters outside of the downtown core over the Family Day long weekend. Even still, some downtown residents say they're haunted by "phantom honking" — what sounds like blaring truck horns, but no actual sounds are there.

Comments:

Maybe Tyrant Trudeau will mandate truck horns that only go: "Psssssst!"

Sounds like people need to go buy some CO2 air horns like people have for boats and remind people in a peaceful walking protest.

Is the whole world gone totally mentally ill?!?!?!? If you are hearing horns that aren't there, you either need to have your hearing checked, or see a therapist to find out why you are crazy!!! But given that these are the same people that elected Adolf Trudeau as their dictator, and will probably re-elect him, I'm guessing the correct answer is crazy!!!

This is a 'CBC' article ... they are the government controlled broadcasting 'tool' of the Liberal and NDP 'coalition' running (ruining) our country here in Canada ... CBC should be ashamed of themselves .. totally misrepresented the protesters and lied to the Canadian public ( who pay their salaries) .... I will never believe anything, ANYTHING, they ever say on their network or 'news' site again... I'm ashamed of how they have tarnished who we Canadians are ... thank you Truckers Convoy for the unintended gift to Canada of exposing in stark view the corrupted media we have been living under for decades ... God bless the Truckers and their families...

With talk like this I fear Western Civilization is doomed. Some people in other countries do not have the privilege of hearing a honking horn, they are too busy listening to rockets explode right next to them. Grow up Canucks! Look around you. Nearly eight-in-ten Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents (78%) say they have “a lot” or “some” trust in the information that comes from national news organizations – 43 percentage points higher than Republicans and Republican leaners (35%) – according to a new Pew Research Center survey conducted June 14-27, 2021.

I’m having a problem using the president’s formal title and name together. It’s not a matter of Republican disrespect for a Democrat. I referred to both Barack Obama and Bill Clinton by their presidential titles. It’s a matter of legitimacy. Over half of all Americans now believe that fraud affected the outcome of the last Presidential election. The Arizona election audit didn’t prove that the Donald won, as many hoped. But it did prove that we don’t really know who won that state. Given the election shenanigans around the country in November 2020, there is certainly justification to question the outcome.
