The Javelin Is Wrecking Putin's Army.
Here's How the Anti-Tank Weapon Works.

Ukraine is a highly devout country – about 87% of its 41 million citizens practice Christianity. So it's notable that, to many Ukrainians, Mary Magdalene now has a new moniker: St. Javelin. The viral meme (shown above) recasting the "Apostle of the apostles" is in reverence to a device that knows no religion: the FGM-148 Javelin portable fire-and-forget anti-tank missile. Since the start of Putin's dastardly invasion of Ukraine, Ukrainian freedom fighters have extensively utilized the American-made weapon system – co-produced by Lockheed Martin and Raytheon – to rain destruction down upon the Russian military's armored vehicles. Ukraine's Defense Ministry estimates that 102 tanks and 536 armored vehicles had been destroyed

I believe President Trump provided the Javelins to Ukraine while Obama gave them blankets.

If true, Ukraine is giving Russia a bloody nose and are in the fight. Never realized Ukraine military was that good, and the Russian military was that bad.

The Russian military hasn't changed -- couldn't handle U.S. Stingers in Afghanistan, can't handle U.S. Javelins in Ukraine. This is why Putin fears NATO.

The challenge now is to get enough "reloads" into Ukraine and to the front-line troops to keep the kill rate high enough to "discourage" Russian tankers from being very aggressive.

The British-Swedish NLAW is a similar weapon, and I have seen a photo of a discarded launch tube (single use device) at a battle scene strewn with wrecked Russian armored vehicles. Germans are supposedly sending some anti-tank weapons, too. Not sure when they are supposed to arrive. I think they will be the SPIKE-MR missiles, fairly similar to the Javelin.

Fine. Use them on tanks if needed. I want to see them used on those big trucks carrying thermobaric bunker-buster bombs and rocket launchers. Blow up the trucks and any other Russian vehicles within a 500-meter radius.

Who gave Ukraine the Javelin? Oh right, it was Trump. They impeached him because he gave the weapons to Ukraine in August instead of June of 2019.

A wicked bit of technology but prime example but just a small example of why the military-industrial complex (particularly majot stockholders and boards of directors - many of whom are also Beltway insiders) love war and conflict. Order up another 1,000 reloads and presto - a $150 million windfall for Lockheed Martin.

I’m having a problem using the president’s formal title and name together. It’s not a matter of Republican disrespect for a Democrat. I referred to both Barack Obama and Bill Clinton by their presidential titles. It’s a matter of legitimacy. Over half of all Americans now believe that fraud affected the outcome of the last Presidential election. The Arizona election audit didn’t prove that the Donald won, as many hoped. But it did prove that we don’t really know who won that state. Given the election shenanigans around the country in November 2020, there is certainly justification to question the outcome.

President Joe Biden’s nominee to replace Justice Stephen Breyer on the Supreme Court, Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, apparently refuses to use the term “illegal alien” in her court opinions, opting instead for “noncitizen.” In a handful of immigration-related cases that Jackson has ruled on U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, she has made a note to employ the term “noncitizen” or “undocumented non-citizens” rather than the terms “alien” or “illegal aliens” that are regularly used in court and in federal statutes.
