for Biden

By agreeing in principle to a summit with Russia's Vladimir Putin, President Joe Biden is reaching for a signature foreign policy win, but accepting massive political and strategic risks that could easily backfire.
Biden's last-ditch, still-tentative and highly conditioned agreement to meet the Russian President came after a weekend of frenzied diplomacy and alarming new US claims that Russia was about to invade Ukraine.
There are real doubts that the meeting, brokered by French President Emmanuel Macron, will ever take place. The White House said Sunday it will go ahead only "if an invasion hasn't happened."
Any summit is contingent on the outcome of talks between Secretary of State Antony Blinken

I absolutely despise not-my-president Lyin' Joe bidet!!!
But I would almost feel sorry for bidet the way that Putin would just demolish him. Putin would just play with bidet until he got bored, and then he would slam the hammer down. bidet would be so destroyed (which would be pretty funny to watch, but still pathetic).
Of course, the only thing in bidet's favor is that he is far too senile to have a clue what would be going on. Jill and his handlers would tell him what a "wonderful job" he did, and he would believe every word -- even after Putin had finished mopping the floor with him!!!

Joe's opening words: "Okay, Vladie--can I call you Vladie?--how can you make this all worth my while. You know--one hand washes the other? I can arrange for you to pick up some more US uranium, same terms as you gave Hillary's foundation. . ."

Putin will cancel his military exercise if Biden submits to:
A. Not allowing Ukraine to join NATO.
B. Removing US troops and equipment from Poland and the 3 Baltic states that are members of NATO.
C. Not allowing Sweden and Finland to join NATO, assuming these two countries still want to after the Ukraine fiasco.
D. Ending weapons sales to Ukraine.
Putin knows that our incredibly weak President needs a “win” to serve as smokescreen from his multiple policy disasters, and we know Biden will capitulate while claiming success.

Biden will give Putin everything he wants and the media will call it a diplomatic triumph and regale us with endless stories of how he stared down the Russian bear.

Why don’t the Presidents of Russia and Ukraine have a talk as they are the two principle leaders involved in the potential war? Who is Biden to negotiate Ukraine’s future as he can’t even manage the US borderlines in accordance with the law? After arraying 190,000 troops along Ukraine’s border, do you really think that the Russians, after talking with Biden, unless Biden surrenders to Russia’s demands, are just going to pick up all their sticks, go home, and forget about invading Ukraine?

Biden continues his wag the dog narrative of war to distract from his own problems. Now he get the chance to complete the degradation of the US on the world stage by giving into Putin's demands for a war that was never going to happen in the first place.

The only risk is to the USA's national security. We all know Joey will cave to every single Putin desire.

fta: "But if Putin does hold off from what was seen in Washington as an almost certain fresh incursion into Ukraine, it will count as a temporary success ̈ laughing at dodgy word "count" as a success? Meaning they will label it Biden's victory if Putin just does as he said he would. .... fwiw, .... I can not remember any case of Putin telling a lie where I saw it. he has invaded some places, check; we are not his favorite country, I know that; make mistakes, yes; stretch things a bit to console grieving parents - yes, but that is different in my book. But tell this kind of lie? fwiw I have never seen it and I have been trying very hard to watch. Medvedev lied about Georgia and I have not forgotten it, but .. Putin has not.

Why would Putin want to talk to a nitwit like Biden? Even the suggestion would irritate me.

Because of the fool who occupies the White House, hundreds if not thousands of innocent Ukrainians will be slaughtered. We can't go another three years with this demented and/or evil man.
