Putin Gives a Bonkers Speech on Ukraine,
Drops the Last Puzzle Piece in Place for War

Following a meeting with his security council this morning, Russian President Vladimir Putin gave a lengthy speech in which he dropped the last piece of the puzzle for war in place. In what can only be described as surreal at times, Putin lamented the fall of the Soviet Union, proclaimed it “madness” that former subject nations were allowed to leave Russia, and claimed his nation has been “blackmailed” by Ukraine. Here are a few clips of his ramblings courtesy of Curtis Houck from Newsbusters. Putin’s “history lesson” on Russian territorial claims and the Soviet Union is obviously not an accident. He is clearly is laying the groundwork not just to take Ukraine

From the article: "Further, Biden also lifted sanctions on the Nordstream 2 pipeline, giving Putin enormous leverage over Europe, while receiving nothing in return." Oh wait, there's more......... January 21, 2021 "•On his first day in office, President Joe Biden signed an executive order revoking the permit for the Keystone XL pipeline, halting its construction in the U.S." White House Psychopath Press Secretary, Jen "Psycho" Psaki, is probably getting ready to blame DJT.

Putin has to Ukraine or China will use that country to strangle Russia. Read up on China's "Belt and Road Initiative." Ukraine is deeply involved in this scheme.

Russia lost the USSR and the Warsaw Pact. They want their greatness back. They were once a superpower. The world looked down the end of their nose at them, criticized them, and called them a failure. All they did was wait for their chief critics to become weak. Europe has weakened under the EU. The United States has weakened under Biden and Obama. Turns out Russia has recovered since its collapse. Taking a page from Trump, watch for Putin to proclaim, 'he is making Russia great again'. We took our eye off Russia, and it bit us. Too much focus on climate change, social justice, and the pandemic. Not enough on the US economy and foreign policy. There are dangers out there, and we were ignoring them.

The opportunity to solidify Ukraine as a sovereign nation after the dissolution of the USSR was squandered by a few corrupt oligarchs who bribed the government and obtained obscenely valuable drilling rights to the country's oil and gas fields. This was the source of Burisma's plunder aided and abetted by the Joe Biden and Barack Obama who protected its oligarch from the Ukrainian prosecutor, Shokin. The vast amounts of Ukrainian aid provided by the US was also diverted into the pockets of Ukrainian and US politicians through the network of Soro backed NGOs that paid kickbacks and bank loans for "projects" that never seemed to ever build anything for the citizens. The stench of corruption mixed with hypocrisy from the West was just too much. The Russian speaking eastern regions found they preferred the purer corruption of their Russian neighbors in the end. Putin may be a gangster but at least he is an honest one. I guess they've forgiven his party for Chernobyl.

American truckers and their supporters are organizing and heading to Washington, D.C. to protest COVID-19 mandates. The People’s Convoy is patterned after Canada’s Freedom Convoy. Truckers will leave California tomorrow and arrive in Washington on Saturday, March 5. D.C. law enforcement is preparing for their arrival. The People’s Convoy announced plans to launch a “peaceful and unified transcontinental movement” in Southern California. Organizers say their intention is to have a “law-abiding convoy” with truckers, blue-collar workers and supporters participating in it. White House press secretary Jen Psaki took a lot of questions on Tuesday about Russia invading Ukraine (again or still, if you like) during her briefing. But if you thought that she would provide any greater sense than her stumbling, slurring boss, you would be mistaken. Psaki said they wanted to “avoid a large-scale invasion” of Ukraine by Russia. They still can’t escape from Biden’s “minor incursion” remark, which signaled to Putin that Biden wasn’t going to respond with the toughest sanctions. Putin has Biden’s number; he knows that, even now, they’re still having difficulty calling it an “invasion.”

House Republicans are scheduled to pick up at least ten House seats due to Democrat retirements alone, according to an analysis by left-leaning Punchbowl News. Republicans are only in the minority by five seats with 30 total Democrat retirements, the largest mass exodus in three decades. Some of the districts that will likely fall to Republicans from Democrats’ grasp have not been finalized by state legislatures or courts. However, Punchbowl estimated the following districts will change from blue to red:

Earlier today I credited Alexander Vindman with the hottest take on Ukraine. Vindman blamed Russia’s aggression on conservative pundits in the United States. Because we have so much influence on the Biden administration, apparently. But yesterday my old law professor Larry Tribe went Vindman one better with this bizarre tweet. Which, by the way, was published at 4:09 a.m., not generally seen as a time for clear, sober thinking: Tribe thinks that Tucker Carlson and other unnamed Republicans in the “Trump wing” of the party are guilty of treason, and therefore subject to criminal prosecution and five years’ imprisonment under 18 U.S.C. § 2381. This is sheer lunacy,

Nearly 24 hours after Russian President Vladimir Putin invaded Ukraine under the guise of recognizing the autonomy of parts of the Donbas region, US President Joe Biden finally mustered a response. Showing up almost two hours late for what was supposed to be an incredibly urgent address (they even moved the start time up, only for him to miss his mark by a mile), the president stumbled and slurred his way through his remarks, outlining a series of incredibly weak sanctions and previewing more pain in the wallet for the average American. Biden wasn’t done for the day, though. He immediately entered a meeting about “green” energy initiatives, attended by

President Joe Biden described events now underway in Ukraine as "the beginning of a Russian invasion" as he unveiled new sanctions to punish Moscow on Tuesday. He laid out what he called a "first tranche" of US sanctions against Russia for its moves, including on two financial institutions, Russian sovereign debt and — starting Wednesday — on Russian elites and their family members. Biden also announced he was moving additional troops and equipment to "strengthen" US allies in Europe, but made clear they would not be there to "fight Russia." The President held out the possibility that diplomacy could still defuse the crisis, and said the US would remain open to talking

I wrote on Monday night how the “chickens of weakness had come home to roost for Joe Biden,” when it came to Russia and Ukraine. Joe Biden has done everything but physically bend over and say, “Thank you, sir, may I have another?” in his relationship with Vladimir Putin. Even after Putin issued a declaration recognizing Donetsk and Luhansk, two regions of Ukraine, as independent nations — a prelude to invasion — Biden’s response was weak in the extreme. He said that they would prohibit Americans from trading in those two regions. A senior administration official even said that units moving into the area might not be enough to trigger

German chancellor Olaf Scholz announced on Tuesday that his government will halt the certification process for the Nord Stream 2 pipeline in response to Russia’s recognition of two separatist Ukrainian enclaves. Nord Stream 2, which is controlled by a subsidiary of Russia’s state-owned energy corporation Gazprom, is completed and filled with gas but has not yet come online. Germany had expected to double imports of natural gas from Russia via the pipeline. However, “the situation today is fundamentally different,” Scholz told reporters. “That is why we must re-evaluate this situation, in view of the latest developments.

Note the word “protection” in the headline, which is different from “antibodies.” Antibodies always fade in time; it takes around four months after a third COVID shot, according to the best data we have. But there’s more to immunity than just antibodies. There are also T cells and B cells, which work together to help the immune system form a “memory” of a particular virus. (Or the spike protein of a particular virus, which is how the vaccines work.) Once you have that “memory,” you can generate new antibodies rapidly to neutralize that virus if you’re infected with it. And here’s the important part: The clearer the “memory”

Russian President Vladimir Putin’s decision to send more troops into Ukraine would not trigger the sanctions prepared by the United States and European allies, the White House said Monday. A White House official explained President Joe Biden’s position during a conference call with reporters Monday. Biden officials reacted anonymously to Putin’s decision to send Russian troops into Ukraine’s Donestsk and Luhansk regions for “peacekeeping” after the two territories declared independence from Ukraine. “Russian troops moving into Donbas would not itself be a new step,” the official noted during the call. “Russia has had forces in the Donbas region for the past eight years.”

It has been years now since the channel has sunk to Hallmark Channel-levels in the ratings, and the recent spate of scandals has compounded the trauma.
