Ohio’s crowded Republican Senate primary is still 2 1/2 months away, but one candidate has made gains in recent weeks: businessman Mike Gibbons. A February poll by the Trafalgar Group found Josh Mandel as an early front-runner in the primary race to replace retiring GOP Ohio Sen. Rob Portman, with the winner expected to face Democratic Rep. Tim Ryan in November. But it found Gibbons at 16.4%, an increase from 11.9% in December, marking a jump from third to second place in just two months. Comments:

There's only one thing that matters in this race - who has the best chance to win in the general election in November? I don't care if it's Gibbons, Vance or Timkens, they have to win, or our country is in trouble.

I'm in Ohio and decided not to vote for Vance or Timken because of the ads exposing how anti Trump they were originally and now pretend to love him.

The Canadian Parliament voted Monday night to approve Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s motion to invoke the Emergencies Act by a vote of 185 for and 151 against. Trudeau invoked the Act, an unprecedented move, last week claiming it necessary to dispel peaceful protests linked to the Freedom Convoy movement, which is demanding an end to civil rights violations by the Trudeau government allegedly necessary to fight the Chinese coronavirus. At press time on Monday, no active Freedom Convoy protests exist anywhere in Canada.

One of CNN’s promotional videos, a compilation of short clips of many of its hosts still being used to this day, includes a clip of Erin Burnett, evidentially quite exercised about some great injustice, asking: “How stupid do you think we are?” The promotional video does not provide the context for this great social justice warrior’s impassioned words but it is in fact in reference to remarks by several GOP senators’ remarks about Donald Trump’s alleged description in a private Oval Office meeting of certain African countries and Haiti as “s**thole” countries. Although these events took place long ago, it is useful to dissect Burnett’s remarks in some detail

Far-left Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau faced another round of heckling and widespread laughter in Parliament on Tuesday, prompting audible cackling at his use of the term “responsible leadership” after invoking the never-before-used Emergencies Act against anti-mandate protesters this week. The Emergencies Act is a law passed in 1988 that allows for widespread federal civil rights violations in the event of violent civil unrest, terrorism, and other emergencies. The law replaced the War Measures Act which granted similar sweeping powers and was last used by Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau, the current head of government’s father, against secessionist terrorists in Quebec.

Waukesha parade massacre suspect Darrell Brooks has pled “not guilty” to killing six people and wounding dozens of others when he allegedly plowed an SUV through crowds of Christmas parade attendees in November of last year. “We’d waive formal reading, and we can enter pleas of not guilty this morning,” Brooks’ defense attorney Jeremy Perri said last Friday. Brooks’ attorney also requested for a change of venue or for jurors to be sequestered and selected from another county, arguing that the intensity of the parade coverage has already turned the city of Waukesha against him.

Two weeks ago he was making headlines due to the ultimatum issued by has-been rocker Neil Young to Spotify, demanding the streaming service either remove Rogan’s podcasts or Young’s music from their catalog. Spotify held their ground and let go of Young’s tunes, but made a dreadful mistake in the process,

There are actually a few animals in nature that display sequential hermaphroditism – the ability to switch from male to female, or vice versa. Clownfish are a prime example. They school around a dominant female. When the female dies, the dominant male changes sexes to become the dominant female. Maybe Adam Schiff has hermaphroditism (in addition to his clownfishyness). He’ll have to wait a bit longer for his big switch. San Fran Nan just announced she has no intention of giving up her dominant female throne anytime soon. Regardless, the LGBTQ movement has decided that adding humans to the list of hermaphroditic species
