In case you understand high flying complicated language and concepts. Here is something plain and simple that should serve as a two by four on the forehead. $8.00 per gallon gas. 15% inflation. That is what they plan to hit you with. If you don't believe this. Just think. Did you expect what you see around you two years ago? Wake up. Now!

It was stated that the protesters were pro police. The type of action the police just performed will ruin that very quickly. The excuse from anyone in the police department stating they were only doing their jobs is weak. It's the same excuse the Nazi's used at the Nuremburg trials at the end of WWII. I don't know if Canadians are allowed to have guns, but we sure are here in the U.S., and any attempt by the government to pull a stunt like that they did in Canada here in the U.S. will be met with armed violence. People for the most part are pro police, that is until they believe the police overstep. Then all bets are off.

#5, a minor nit, but words have meaning, which is why the commies always work so hard on changing the meaning of words to fit their agenda. The minor nit: We are not 'allowed' to have guns in the US. The government at all levels is expressly forbidden from infringing on our natural God-given right to keep and bear arms/weapons of any type. And that also means when the constitution was written and agreed to and signed that they didn't, in the limited powers granted the federal government, give it a power (to tax) that would allow it to infringe on our right to keep and bear arms, which is was explicitly forbidden from doing. Remember, that was the bogus legal thaumaturgy their pet 'judges' came up with to allow the NFA of 1934, because the government had the power to tax. Totally unconstitutional and bogus.

I've always heard doing away with the middle class is how communism gets started...keep the poor comfortable with federal funds, rich corporation are getting richer by sending jobs to China...low wages, higher prices. The rich companies don't care if the feds raise taxes & inflation is out of control... they raise their prices & have their Big tax breaks.... The middle class foots the bill.

As difficult as it may be to believe, many people are waking up to the horrors of what the West has become BUT individually we are still isolated and no one wants to risk what they have. Even posting on this forum at Lucianne now is risky. If one goes against the approved narrative one becomes a target and can be easily labeled a traitor, terrorist, racist, or homophobe. Our governments (Canadian, American, Western European, AUS, and NZ) have in many ways embraced the same ideology of the Nazis, Bolsheviks, and Stasis and are (will) begin using the same methods to quell discontent and resistance.

Essays like this always promote the inevitable power of the police and the government. It's a false illusion that they must work to maintain. I condemn the rioters and looters who injured the police and those who called for defunding the police but there are actual bad cops out there who abuse their power and need strict control. They get high on power and have been known to abuse people for simple traffic violations. That behavior is what prompts body cams and car cams. They will follow orders when the time comes like they did in Canada so there may come a time when we must call their bluff if we know they are in the wrong. The NWO has no power unless we give it to them. We are seeing government overreach everywhere and must resist it or the gulags are in our future. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. The many good cops out there can not be allowed to excuse the other kind.

The "pull quotes" in this piece are from an Atlantic article from earlier this month written by a Canadian author named Stephen Marche who was hawking his new book on the coming civil war. I had the misfortune to see him on Tim Pool's IRL podcast last week and he looks exactly as you would imagine for an old-school effete poof socialist - soft and puffy face, bad teeth, greasy hair hanging in his face, and trying to inhabit every corner of the argument so as to not arouse anyone's ire. He spouted the usual MSM cliches about Trump, those who support him, red-state Americans, all the while extolling the virtues of Canada's elites. He claims that he traveled the country attending Trump rallies and felt intimidated and threatened, but then stated that most of the MSM had it right (including some idiocy about Trump rolling out tanks on July 4th before the election - that was one I hadn't heard before). His take was that the Freedom Truckers were dirty ignorant hicks from the provinces who didn't understand the elegant beauty of Canada's Charter or Trudeau. greyseal

To #10: "It is scary that this is right on our own border." Sorry, but it's already here, with: the theft of an entire POTUS election, the corruption and weaponization of the entire Federal justice, intelligence, and military apparatus (Obama's true legacy), Merrick Garland building databases of opposition conservatives he has unilaterally labeled as domestic terrorists, the unConstitutional, zero-due-process incarceration and partisan prosecution of the J6 protestors, etc, etc, etc. Scenes such as those in Ottawa will soon be happening in US cities, because the jackboots running the US govt have no incentive to back off while their fascist tactics are working so well.

Read this to the Lady Chihuahua, and she only accepted a kernel of truth because she thought the rest was scare tactics by the author. Can't argue that because she is right. Can't justify the scare tactics because they are used to manipulate people and spread lies. OTOH, I think the author is more right than wrong. Don't know how to convince people of this stuff. People don't want to know they are living in a waking nightmare. Truly hope the Ottawa police realize the can of worms they have opened. They are attacking people just like armed thugs. Keep doing that, and the police will be treated like armed thugs. It reminded me of a documentary I saw on maximum security prisons that are largely run by gangs. The gangs do not view the police as law enforcement, they view them as just another gang. The police receive no courtesy or respect because they are law enforcement. The police plan accordingly if they go into a gang's territory. If only one or two officers were to go in, it would end badly for them. Numbers count. If the police make an ''incursion' into some gang's territory a large number of officers are involved. Police better remember they are outnumbered by the general public by a large margin. If they rise up, the police will be unable to stop them.

Simply put, the ruling elites need plantations full of peasants, to work until they drop. It's real life Hunger Games. It's not only an issue in Canada, but in America, and in European countries. The difference between America and the rest of the world is the #2A. Americans are armed to the teeth. The ruling elites need gun confiscation to make their peasant plantations to work.

If enough people pay attention, and the States use common sense and tighten up their election laws, chances are in the next election now scheduled to take place in November, a lot of Democrat politicians who have overstepped on the COVID mandates are going to be bounced out of office. About March 1, when Biden reads off the State of the Union speech before Congress, that was developed and written for him to read by leftist, progressive, and socialist Democrat operatives, Biden will attempt to fraudulently blame Trump and the wimpy Republicans for the mandates that Democrat politicians supercharged in the Democrat States and big cities. Chances are Biden will then call off a lot of the Democrat imposed mandates, and then through the run-up to the election, Biden and the Democrats will strive to, with the help of the liberal media, make themselves and their socialist political agenda look more conservative and reasonable to the unknowing, far more than the wimpy Republicans before election time. Following that, if Biden and the Democrats find that they have BS’ed enough of the unknowing to remain in power, it will be back to a new normal socialist aligned political agenda for the Democrats with the big issues being spending huge amounts of government money and race mongering.

'But there was something a little funny about those “arrests.” Many of the people arrested claimed that they were driven several blocks or a couple of miles away and then just released. They were not issued citations or formally charged with anything." "So these aren’t “arrests” where anyone is being charged — just moving people away from the area. Thus, it appears to be an effort to look like they are “doing something” or “restoring order.” Most of the people said that they were released a distance away. Some were asked to say they wouldn’t return to the protest. They didn’t comply and returned anyway. Nobody was charged with anything, there was no processing, not even a desk appearance ticket." https://redstate.com/nick-arama/2022/02/20/crackdown-sparks-even-more-massive-protests-across-canada-crisis-for-trudeau-n525046 Unfortunately, I suspect the "organizers" are getting the J6 treatment.

Ukraine to Putin: Never Again 10 replies

Word from the battlegrounds in Ukraine is scattered and cannot always be confirmed, but some credible accounts give every indication that Putin may have blundered and faces a stronger defense than he (or the Biden administration) imagined possible. The bravery of a former comedian elected the Ukrainian President and a multimillionaire former boxing champion, now the mayor of Kyiv, who refused flight and stayed to defend their homeland at great risk of their lives, is part of the story. But to my mind, the memory of the Holodomor in which Russia’s Stalin starved to death millions of Ukrainians plays an even greater role and explains why so many ordinary citizens

California doctors who object to assisted suicide are fighting an amended state law that implicates them in their patients' intentional deaths. They are suing California officials, including Attorney General Rob Bonta, Department of Public Health Director Tomas Aragon, and Medical Board members to block SB 380, which made it easier for patients to commit suicide under the End of Life Options Act that took effect in 2016. The original law issued a broad exemption for healthcare providers, granting them a liability shield for "refusing to inform" patients about their right to physician-assisted suicide and "not referring" patients to physicians who will assist in their suicides. The amended law removed it,

As I expected, I got a bit of flak for my last article from people who do not want to believe that American life in the 1950s was far more vibrantly social than it is now, and that the basis of that sociality was the strength of the family.
