Michigan men's basketball coach Juwan Howard unloaded a wild swing at a rival coach after his underperforming team was routed Sunday, sparking a massive postgame brawl that could have major ramifications on the rest of the Wolverine's season. Howard, a a former member of Michigan's famed Fab Five and longtime NBA star, apparently got angry that Wisconsin coach Greg Gard called a timeout in the closing seconds of a game that was out of reach between the Big Ten conference foes. After the final horn sounded on Michigan's 77-63 drubbing, Howard appeared to make contact with Wisconsin assistant coach Joe Krabbenhoft after arguing with Gard in the handshake line.

So the Michigan coach thought calling a time-out was unnecessary because the coach calling the timeout was for the opposite team -- which was winning handily with only seconds to go. Grow up, Michigan! The other guy had his reasons and apparently it was in his rights.

Well, this should get a lot of attention. Expect an avalanche of excuses, context, equivocation and lies.
In the end it's how Juwan motivates his boys so all good.

Look for abject phony apologies from the Michigan coach ending in pleas for forgiveness because ‘racism’ had to be involved somewhere. A 1 or 2 game suspension and then if you bring it up after that you’re a white supremicist.

Gee, I wonder why the NFL and NBA seem reluctant to hire African American coaches for multi-million dollar contracts? It's gotta be racism. Gotta be.

77-63 is a drubbing? Nah, 90-23 is a drubbing. 77-63 is a game you lost.

Juan Howard will claim it was a training exercise for his young thugs. Training to be future NBA thugs. Anyway, it's Black History Month so Howard gets a free pass.

well....juwan was wearing his virtue signaling mask when he violated social distancing. From now on, the fans of opposing teams will be yelling 'time out' in the stands behind Juuuuuwan. Good.

No such thing as an open-hand punch. It's a slap.

Maybe the whole calling time-out thing is still a touchy subject for Howard, considering how his team lost the national championship game against NC because Chris Webber tried calling one when they didn't have any more to take.

Ohio State's song " I Don't Give a Damn About the Whole State of Michigan" has it right...Why would anyone care about the criminals who inhabit their elite University? Juwan has never been much more than garbage, he fits right in!

It wasn't a drubbing. 77-63 is a loss but not a blowout. What I see is a team of white kids beating a team of color. Ol' Juwan's friends aren't going to let him live that down and he knows it. He got beat by snowmen!! Oh the shame BWAHAHAHAHAHA. Sore loser!

Wisconsin called timeout because they had their scrubs in and Howard decided to run a full court press against them in the last 25 seconds of the game. The scrubs weren't prepared for it so the WI coach called a timeout. Howard wasn't playing like the game was over.

Sounds like a Hate Crime to me!
In reality, the only way I could care less about basketball, either college or National Blackballer's Association, is it I made a conscious effort to do so..... but that's waay too much trouble.

Trashy people playing a trashy inner city game. Sorry, it doesn't surprise me. Probably the way this was played when he was growing up.

Wisconsin never recovered from the reign of Chancellor Dirty Donna Shalala. She disrupted that university prior to moving into the Secretary of HHS for Dollar Bill Clinton. Then she screwed that one up as well.
And Dirty Donna then became Chancellor of the University of Miami, bringing that university to the brink of death -an NCAA death penalty for all sports at Miami. But Dirty Donna was able to corrupt the head of the NCAA, who was a fellow alum of Syracuse University.
Why am I on this tangent about her?
Because her actions at HHS back in the 1990s allowed HHS to control the supply, development and distribution of all vaccines. And they screwed it up at HHS. Some of the problems with the Kung Flu vaccine likely devolve back into her ugly lap.
HHS also took over the management of organ donor lists, and transplant decisions, after the Clintons and Donna were offended by Governor Bob Casey's heart-lung transplant. He was anti-abortion, you see. He didn't deserve life.

Actually the one thing Donna Shalala did right was turn to nonwoke law professor Frank Remington to hire Barry Alvarez to begin a thirty year old run of clean high level athletics. But she killed Halloween on state street, which made Mardi Gras look like a church picnic.
