China is now likely to be to blame for a mysterious object set to crash into the moon, not SpaceX as was originally reported. Several weeks ago, Ars Technica had reported that a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket that was launched in 2015 as part of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administrations (NOAA) Deep Space Climate Observatory mission, dubbed DSCOVR, was on a collision course with the moon after seven years drifting in space.Amateur and professional astronomers pooled their resources to contribute to “Project Pluto” software run by Bill Gray. Gray sought the observations to confirm that the near-Earth object (NEO) tracking software had indeed located the Falcon 9 rocket and

So what? A piece of space junk hit the moon. It is Chinese. Or SpaceX. Or whatever. The moon is a lifeless rock. The space junk is tiny in comparison. Oh noes! An extra piece of junk on the mooon! Woo woo woo! I'm the most anti-CCP person on the planet but this is not something to waste energy criticizing them for. Let's talk about genocide, organ theft, IP theft, currency manipulation, and a bunch of other serious things first.

The big question: Will China blast the moon out of its orbit and into space, thus losing tides, seasons, flip-flopping, etc of the Earth?

No one should be surprised that the script has already been updated to account for recent distressing events on the border separating Russia and Ukraine.
