We’ve seen a lot of troubling civil liberties questions regarding the Freedom Convoy, particularly after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau invoked the Emergencies Act. Among the most concerning: banning of protests at the whim of the government, conscripted labor — the government telling tow truck workers that they would be forced to work for the government against the Convoy — and even the freezing of bank accounts for the grievous sin of being involved in a protest against government mandates. As we reported, you even had Trudeau’s deputy prime minister, Chrystia Freeland laughing about seizing accounts. She is asked not just about the protesters’ accounts being seized but about the accounts

When bitcoin burst on the scene I was intrigued by a non-government currency just due to my inherent distrust of both politicians and bureaucrats. I tried to understand it, but never really could see it as a store of value. With these responses to the now-fascist Canadian government, I may have to rethink this. Bitcoin is now demonstrating value.

One of the least 'safe' places for your money is in a safe in your house. A wall safe is easily pulled out from the wall. A floor safe can be lifted up from the floor. Once free, your safe will be carted out to a truck and opened later at the thieves' leisure. What is a safe good for? A decoy. Put a small to mid sized safe with some bricks or piles of paper, marbles, whatever, in your wall in an easily found location. Thieves are likely to take your empty safe and go rather than rummage around your home for other things since you -obviously- put all your best stuff in the safe, right? A safe only costs a few hundred bucks. That's nothing next to the rest of your losses if they loot your home. And get a big dog or two and some guns and learn to use them.

This is exactly why I'm taking a clue from the My Pillow guy and starting a new company called "My Mattress Bank". You'll be able to safely store all the cash you have in that middle hump in everyone's mattress that is the No-Go zone for you and your partner. No crook would ever think to look there because everyone's mattress already looks like that,. And no Democrat would ever think of going there because they firmly believe that government should stay out of your bedroom. Best of all, your sex life will improve because the My Mattress Bank doesn't allow early withdrawals. And finally, you'll be able to accurately proclaim that "No government has the right to seize my 'F-ing money'."

When my father, the last of my parents, passed away in 2011 my two brothers and I had to liquidate properties and his accounts. As we settled, I did two things because Obama was in office at the time. I shrunk our bank account to an amount just enough to pay bills, no investments, all cash hidden. I liquidated my wife's 401-K because the governments big eyes were looking. Meager interest at the time inspired me not to invest. Call me crazy but here we are so don't think these moron chumps aren't thinking what Trudeau is doing excites them too. Bitcoin might be the answer to my future to stash my cash.

Unless some real Americans replace the fascist dictator wanna-bes now in control in Washington, those now in power will do everything they can...including unconstitutional violations of all of our civil rights...until they are forced to back off. IOW, it will have to get much worse before the bozos in charge will be forced, by popular demand, to clean up their act. As evidence, please consider: 1. Hillary is still roaming free, despite her decades of spying, stealing, conniving, and even having people assassinated (remember Vince Foster and Seth Rich? Remember 3 boxes of FBI files found in her bedroom? Benghazi? Destruction of 33,000 emails, harddrives and smartphones that were under subpoena? etc etc etc). 2. The unconstitutional, zero-due-process incarceration of the J6 protesters? 3. The partisan, kangaroo witch-hunt now underway to investigate Trump for his involvement in J6? 4. The partisan weaponization of the entire Deep State to spy on Trump, even as the sitting president? 5. The partisan collusion to first create, and then prosecute, a sitting President on the basis of fabricated 'evidence?' 6. The partisan Mueller investigation, which used that fabricated evidence to pursue a years-long wholly fruitless partisan witch hunt? 7. The entire "phone and a pen" approach to government...which on its face bypasses the will of the governed.

President Joe Biden canceled last-minute plans on Sunday to return home to Delaware as negotiations with Russian leader Vladimir Putin continue. At around 2:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon, the White House announced that Biden would leave in the evening to return to his home in Delaware for Presidents’ Day, even though officials said Friday the president would remain at the White House for the weekend. Biden appeared anxious to return home, but roughly an hour later, his plans were canceled. A White House official told reporters “a family-related issue”

By agreeing in principle to a summit with Russia's Vladimir Putin, President Joe Biden is reaching for a signature foreign policy win, but accepting massive political and strategic risks that could easily backfire. Biden's last-ditch, still-tentative and highly conditioned agreement to meet the Russian President came after a weekend of frenzied diplomacy and alarming new US claims that Russia was about to invade Ukraine. There are real doubts that the meeting, brokered by French President Emmanuel Macron, will ever take place. The White House said Sunday it will go ahead only "if an invasion hasn't happened." Any summit is contingent on the outcome of talks between Secretary of State Antony Blinken

There has been a lot of talk about the growing number of incumbent Democrats deciding to retire; see Another House Dem Bows out, as Their Fears of 2022 Red Wave Grow. There are a lot of reasons for those departures. Redistricting is claiming some, the prospect of a bruising campaign in an unfavorable political environment has convinced others to pack it in. All of that begs the question of the caliber of candidate the Democrats are turning to in their struggle to defend their House majority. Oklahoma’s Fifth Congressional District

London -Queen Elizabeth II tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday and is experiencing mild, cold-like symptoms, Buckingham Palace said, adding that the famously stoic 95-year-old monarch plans to carry on working. The palace said the queen would continue with “light” duties at Windsor Castle over the coming week. “She will continue to receive medical attention and will follow all the appropriate guidelines,” the palace said in a statement. People in the U.K. who test positive for COVID-19 are required to self-isolate for at least five days, although the British government says it plans to lift that requirement for England this week.

Turns out the lasting image of the Freedom Convoy protest at Parliament Hill will not be bouncy castles but that of a woman with a walker being trampled by a police horse. The violence the Prime Minister has expressed concern about during the three-week protest in Ottawa didn’t unfold until Justin Trudeau’s Emergencies Act police army was sent in to disperse the crowd. The three major incidents Friday, under a form of martial law, were grotesque. Video of Toronto Police Mounted Unit officers charging into the crowd and at least one horse trampling multiple people — including an elderly woman with a walker — was disturbing.

As a predicate, the National Archives management has turned that government office into a purely leftist entity determined to advance all leftist causes, including destroying Donald Trump.
