Just to give a little color to something like this. In my lily white, upper middle class, executive town, students who were home because of the COVID reaction were playing basketball on one of the school courts. The Athletic Director, saw them and asked them to leave. He asked them in the manner that heroic educators, who have become the most compliant and onerous of all public servants in COVID reaction, speak to their charges, our children. "Hey! You f'n kids, get the f out of here! What the f do you think this is, a public park?" Get the f off the court!" Everyone knows the special wonderful teacher. But Public-school teachers and admins all believe they are above all. They live and work in a dictatorship where they are all considered sacred. Athletic especially. They dictate and brook no dissent. I have no idea what this guy said and dont agree with his beating in response, but he said more than "Please stop riding your vehicles. You should leave".

Poster 1- That is nothing but conjecture on your part. Here's my conjecture. You're fantasizing some way to give these thugs some cover. Our society has become too violent and the only way to stop it is with harsh punishment. They should be charged with assault and jailed. The many years of coddling violent students has only encouraged more violence. The odds are these students that conducted the attack felt they were entitled and likely have a record of problems. Even if what you say is true, it is no excuse to physically attack and injure someone. The genesis of this type of violent behavior starts at home. Raise them with no sense of right & wrong and no self control and this is the result.

They look pretty big to be Middleschoolers...back in the 70's 15yo's could get a license to ride 100cc or smaller bikes on the roads, let us get around pretty well, pretty far. We'd ride from Sugarland up to the cyfair area to offroad, skateboard in the floodcontrol spillways, meet other kids(girls)and search for mushrooms, had to be careful to make sure you respected gates, cattle and such...or the landowners would get upset. By the time I was out of highschool the whole are was turning into subdivisions, I must have built 200+ houses up there. There were still packs of Red Wolves out there then...pretty spooky to camp overnight and hear them. When the subdivision folks started moving in the wolves would howl/call at night to lure their dogs out...then kill and eat them. We'd find the torn up carcasses. There was plenty of quail and I'd run my bird dogs up there, but always had someone carrying a rifle instead of a shotgun.

Another expression of the dark age, degenerate, and violent tribal culture that prevails in “communities” located in the leftist, progressive, and socialist Democrat run big cities. That culture will not evolve into a modern culture until the good people themselves who reside in those “communities” force that to happen. As long as those “communities” remain represented by a one party government cabal that ignores all the violent crime that takes place in those “communities” in favor of sucking as many votes as possible out of those “communities” to stay in political power nothing will change. Those “communities” should give the principle of two party political government a chance.

@#8 - Reading is fundamental ( for those who remember that ad campaign back in the day). The article clearly states, early on, that the teacher was a high school physics teacher and assistant baseball coach. The incident occurred at a high school field. We're the students " middle schoolers"? That may be what was reported (it is possible) but that would require some faith in 'journalism'....

"middle schoolers", add it to the ever-growing list of "what do these perps. have in common" that has nothing to do with what they did. There is a pattern here, but journalists knock themselves out actively avoiding the obvious. Definitely not going to solve a problem we don't even dare speak its name.

I had a student threaten me when I was a lifetime teacher in an inner city school. The vice principal invited the mom in for a conference, and the first thing the VP said was. "What could you have done to prevent this?" The kid never graduated because he was caught rifling teachers' pocket books and possessing a master key to the school. He is presently serving time for attempted murder.

The Iowa Supreme Court on Friday cleared the way for lawmakers to severely limit or even ban abortion in the state, reversing a decision by the court just four years ago that guaranteed the right to the procedure under the Iowa Constitution. The court, now composed almost entirely of Republican appointees, concluded that a less conservative court wrongly decided that abortion is among the fundamental privacy rights guaranteed by the Iowa Constitution and federal law. Friday's ruling comes amid expectations that the Supreme Court will overturn the landmark Roe v. Wade decision that legalized abortion nationwide. Then Iowa lawmakers could ban abortion in the state without completing the lengthy process

The country’s eyes are trained on high-profile massacres in Texas and Buffalo, but most mass shootings bear little resemblance to those. Of 267 incidents this year classified as mass shootings by the Gun Violence Archive, nearly all can be tied to gang beefs, neighborhood arguments, robberies or domestic incidents that spiraled out of control.
