So there you have it. Russiagate, the collective delusion that Donald Trump was secretly a Russian agent aided and abetted by the Kremlin, the topic of uncountable inches of Washington Post and New York Times copy and the entire prime-time lineup of MSNBC, was a dirty trick by the Hillary Clinton campaign. Not just part of it. All of it. One of the most diabolical, successful misinformation campaigns ever concocted. We already knew that the Steele dossier was garbage. Christopher Steele was paid indirectly by the Clinton campaign to dig up dirt, which he did by turning to other Clinton operatives, laundering every outlandish rumor about Trump

I'm generally an optimistic person, but the Hildebeast will skate again. We thought we had her with purloined FBI files, but she pretended they were found just sitting on a table. We thought we had her with Benghazi, but she simply closed the discussion with an imperial, "What difference, at this point, does it make?" We thought we had her with 30,000 missing emails wiped from her home-brew server, but she laughed it all off with a dismissive, "Like with a cloth?" She will die without suffering any earthly consequences. But, hey now, we've got her Final Judgement yet to witness. AMDG - All for the Glory of God Indeed, that philosophy still pervades our federal government.

Anybody with one eye and half sense would have known, if and when they read the made-up story about Trump and his associates jumping around on a bed and doing nefarious and stupid things, it was a made-up , 14-year-old stunt.

Until the bad actors in the DOJ/FBI/CIA are behind bars at Leavenworth, I will never trust them again. I will plead the 5th if they ever find me important enough to interview. The FBI should definitely be dismantled after this.

President Trump is right again. The best comeback I have ever heard in a Presidential debate was when in a response to her comment stating that it was a good thing that he was not in charge of the law in our country and he shot back, because you would be in jail. That was the best takedown of the old gal and you could just see her seething while trying her best to control her facial expression. It was a direct hit and she knew it. His response was was perfect because the vast majority of Americans knew he was right. If the day ever comes that HRC receives her must deserved comeuppance, very few will have any sympathy for her. She has run roughshod over many people who will secretly be cheering. The rest of us will publicly be doing the happy dance! May we live to enjoy the day!

News item: Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds will be giving the official Republican response to installed President Joe Biden’s State of the Union address. At a time when Americans are desperately looking outside of Washington, D.C. for political leadership that will put the citizens of this nation first, Reynolds and far too many of her fellow GOP governors instead seem to have another agenda in mind. First and foremost, that involves doing lucrative state business with communist China.

Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the invasion of Ukraine Thursday. He’d been fixing on it for a while. Most of the world knew it was coming. By nightfall, their advanced forces had reached the capital city of Kyiv, and the situation looked dire. In the ensuing bloodshed, the internet was awash in hot takes. Not insignificant among them: That treason is amiss on the right, where our elites detect an insufficient support for the White House — and an insufficient hatred of Putin.

In That Hideous Strength, the grand finale of his sci-fi trilogy, C.S. Lewis tells the story of Mark Studdock, a young academic who seeks distinction by joining the “Progressive Element” of his college and, eventually, the sociological organization, N.I.C.E. While Mark is initially awed by the organization’s lofty goals of social and police reform through “correctional” experimentation, he soon discovers the organization’s nightmarish project—that is, the machine-operated head of a guillotined murderer, presented as a second Christ, having been raised from the dead. The glorious evolution of life, according to the villains, was always toward something engineered in a lab.

Assembly Speaker Robin Vos says the Republicans in the grassroots of the party who are furious with his handling of a 2020 election review are wrong to blame him. The anger should instead of be directed at Democrats, Vos said in his first public comments responding to a growing chorus of Republicans at the local party level calling for his resignation after he disciplined a member of his caucus over false election claims. "In each political party, there are people who are unhappy with the direction because they're frustrated with the state of our country.

All my life, I have encountered people who scoff at the notion that the American family was far healthier in the 1950s than it is now. They cannot, of course, point to any strong evidence of widespread unhappiness and dysfunction in that time. Divorces were rare, and so were out-of-wedlock births. American men and women after the war were eager to resume real life. Rosie the Riveter usually wanted children and a home, not a new sweatband and more rivets. We don’t have to assert that it was a “golden age,” any more than we have to assert that all of the founders were geniuses of political acumen and farsightedness.

For more than a year, former President Donald Trump has berated Gov. Doug Ducey of Arizona, savaging him for refusing to overturn the state’s presidential results and vowing to oppose him should he run for the Senate this year. In early December, though, Ducey received a far friendlier message from another former Republican president. At a golf tournament luncheon, George W. Bush encouraged him to run against Sen. Mark Kelly, a Democrat, suggesting the Republican Party needs more figures like Ducey to step forward. “It’s something you have to feel a certain sense of humility about,” the governor said this month of Bush’s appeal. “You listen respectfully, and that’s what I did.”

The Secret Service is telling Republican investigators that it cannot find communications related to Hunter Biden’s travels for 2010, 2011, or 2013 — when President Joe Biden was the vice president. Republican Sens. Chuck Grassley of Iowa and Ron Johnson of Wisconsin sent the Secret Service a letter last month seeking unredacted records tied to Hunter Biden’s travels between January 2009 and January 2017. They asked for full travel records and criticized the agency for years of “inappropriate redactions” — especially related to a controversial Kazakhstan trip in 2014. The senators also lamented that three years of documents seemed to be missing entirely.
