‘A very scary concept’: Energy ministers
fearful of oil prices surpassing $100

Energy ministers representing Egypt and Cyprus on Monday said they were deeply concerned about the potential for oil prices to climb above $100 a barrel. It comes at a time when more than a dozen countries have urged their citizens to leave Ukraine amid warnings of an imminent Russian invasion. International benchmark Brent crude futures soared to a new seven-year high on Monday morning on the elevated geopolitical tensions. The contract was last seen trading at $94.33, down 0.1% for the session after earlier hitting a peak of $96.16. U.S. West Texas Intermediate futures, meanwhile, stood at $93.20, roughly 0.1%

Comments:

Let's not forget the first thing Biden did was to constrict our oil supply. He needs to be held accountable.

Remember, we were energy independent under the previous administration. But LGB cut off so much of that supply through his "green initiatives." The only thing green about them is the money they're putting into the wallets of fat cat cronies of LGB. You know the ones -- makers of solar panels that cannot generate enough power given current technology. And where do the natural resources come from for these solar panels? LGB's best buddies: China.

What gratitude. Here’s Joe Biden trying to provide us with the perfect climate and ideal temperatures for the earth and we are quibbling about the price of oil? While Biden’s two goals are impossible to achieve, this near octogenarian is working 24/7/365 to create this Eden like environment in just 50 years. So what if we can’t afford to heat our homes, drive our cars, turn on the lights or use mechanization to grow and transport our food. We’re saving the planet, or something. Whatever President Trump did right, Dementia Joe is determine to do the exact opposite. Our country, its citizens and our futures be damned.

This is INTENTIONAL policy by the Dems and the EcoNazis. They WANT petroleum priced so high that their crappy, unreliable, super expensive, intermittent "green energy" seems almost reasonable.

And never forget, high oil and gas prices are what funds the Russian war machine, entirely. Russia makes nothing else that anyone wants except raw materials.

Rosario Dawson and Sen. Cory Booker have called it quits on their relationship of more than two years, PEOPLE confirms. A source close to the New Jersey lawmaker says the former couple aren't dating anymore but remain good friends (A Booker rep had no comment; reps for Dawson did not respond to a request). Dawson and Booker first crossed paths at a political fundraiser for a mutual friend in summer 2018. Though sparks didn't fly right away, months later, the two reconnected. The first Black federal judge in Alabama sent a letter to President Joe Biden asking him to pass over a leading contender for the US Supreme Court, NBC News reported on Friday. U.W. Clemon — a former state lawmaker who served as a federal judge in Alabama from 1980 to 2009 — petitioned the president not to consider Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson for the vacancy that will be filled upon the departure of Justice Stephen Breyer later this year. Jackson, who has been a frontrunner for the seat, currently sits on the federal appeals court in Washington, D.C. In his letter, Clemon

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Republican state lawmakers across the U.S. are trying to require schools to post all course materials online so parents can review them, part of a broader national push by the GOP for a sweeping parents bill of rights ahead of the midterm congressional elections. At least one proposal would give parents with no expertise power over curriculum choices. Parents also could file complaints about certain lessons and in some cases sue school districts. Booster shots of the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna vaccines lose substantial effectiveness after about four months - but still provided significant protection in keeping people out of the hospital during the omicron surge, according to a study published Friday by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Researchers found the booster shots remained highly effective against moderate and severe covid-19 for about two months after a third dose. But their effectiveness declined substantially after four months, suggesting the need for additional boosters, the study said. The vaccine was 91% effective in preventing a vaccinated person from being hospitalized during the two months

ATLANTA — Top Georgia lawmakers have signaled that proposals to allow the wealthy, predominately white Buckhead neighborhood to secede from Atlanta are dead, at least for this year. (Snip) Business leaders have been working to tamp down the possibility that Georgia’s largest city would fracture, an event likely to carry ugly racial overtones and make bondholders nervous about the ability of Georgia cities to repay their debts. New York is the widely recognized fashion capital of the United States, and it may soon use that influence to combat climate change. A bill, which has been introduced in both houses of the state legislature, would require large clothing companies to disclose and reduce their environmental footprints. The latest push comes amid the ongoing rollout of top designers’ latest outfits at New York City Fashion Week, which wraps next Wednesday. The Fashion Sustainability and Social Accountability Act, known as the Fashion Act for short, would force clothing and apparel manufacturers with more than $100 million in annual sales to

If we’ve learned anything from the inhabitants of Planet Looney Tunes over the last couple of years, it is this: Anything and everything the left doesn’t like is racist, misogynistic, or worse. And by “racist,” we’re talking systemic racism — which is tied to white supremacy and the ridiculous notion that all white people — at birth, solely because of the color of their skin — are inherently racist, and for which, they must atone by living proactively anti-racist lives. And, as if we haven’t laughed at these people enough, they now tell us that eating meat is “all of the above.”
