A watchdog group is pressing the Department of Homeland Security to disclose its methods behind a new domestic terrorism threat bulletin that warns of “the proliferation of false or misleading narratives” as a cause of undermining public trust in the federal government. The Center to Advance Security in America (CASA) said it will file a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request seeking the basis for the DHS bulletin. The group said the Biden administration’s policy involves “the use of the domestic security state to potentially target political opponents, squash free speech and deliver federal dollars to special interest allies.”

Burlington— After a fiery meeting that showcased how polarizing pandemic restrictions have become, city councilors voted unanimously to enact a citywide mask mandate Wednesday evening, requiring businesses to ensure that employees and patrons either wear masks or prove they are vaccinated. The mandate requires indoor masking while Covid-19 spread is “high” or “substantial” in Chittenden County... Per state law, it must be renewed monthly and cannot extend past April 30, 2022. People do not have to wear masks in restaurants, convenience stores or gyms if everyone in the establishment has shown proof that they are vaccinated, the ordinance stated.

I appreciate Dr. Levine’s honest answer at the Governor’s press conference this week when asked why our state’s Covid-19 rates are so high given that Vermont has the country’s highest vaccination rate. One reason he stated is that we have “low natural immunity.” Are any reporters asking the follow up questions here? How could this be? CORRECTION*

There is ample evidence of both, almost always, but the exact tilt of a scale and in which direction it points for the majority is not always clear. As such, you are sometimes left wondering which it is, but there is little doubt it is at least one and usually some combination of both.

Russiagate, the collective delusion that Donald Trump was secretly a Russian agent aided and abetted by the Kremlin, the topic of uncountable inches of Washington Post and New York Times copy and the entire prime-time lineup of MSNBC, was a dirty trick by the Hillary Clinton campaign. Not just part of it. All of it. One of the most diabolical, successful misinformation campaigns ever concocted. We already knew that the Steele dossier was garbage. Christopher Steele was paid indirectly by the Clinton campaign to dig up dirt, which he did by turning to other Clinton operatives, laundering every outlandish rumor
