Hold up your arm to a crayon box. If your skin is sufficiently dimmer than Peach, a Minnesota school invites you to a meal.To be clear, that’s the case if you’re on staff. You could wonder which achievement of yours is being awarded, but it might be best to eschew questions and just enjoy the free food.As relayed by The College Fix, Gustavus Adolphus College is hosting a People of Color International Faculty and Staff Appreciation Lunch.University of Michigan Flint Professor Mark Perry sent a screenshot of the registration form to the Fix.Mark’s unimpressed — he’s filed a complaint with the Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights (OCR).

This is a BLATANT violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, or national origin. COLOR. I teach a couple of university classes where we discuss the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Almost always a student asks 'what's the difference in race and color?' Now I have a good illustration for the next student that asks that!

#5~ Indeed, and the ultra-liberal Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), which Gustavus Adolphus College is affiliated with, continues to besmirch the reputation of other Lutheran synods that treasure Lutheran theology based solely on the Scriptures of God.
As a reminder, two Lutherans in Finland are being dishonored and are on trial for their faith. The Reverend Doctor Bishop Juhana Pohjola and Päivi Räsänen, a Lutheran wife of a Lutheran pastor, a medical doctor, and a former member of Parliament, will be in court for a second hearing on Monday (February 14, 2022) for charges of incitement against a group of people, homosexuals, because of a booklet published in 2004 “which articulates historic Christian teaching on human sexuality.” This trial is significant because it is being viewed by many Christians as Finland putting the Bible on trial.
In 1537, Martin Luther gave an exposition of John 15:1 wherein he stated, “The fact is that in the hands of God persecution furthers our spiritual growth...” People of faith are being pruned by our Divine Vinedresser. May we have the courage of Peter and the apostles to do our best to obey God rather than men. (Acts 5:29)
To quote Martin Luther: “Prayer is a strong wall and fortress of the church; it is a goodly Christian weapon. ... Christians fight best on their knees. Whatever good may be done is done and brought about by prayer.”

Appreciation for what? If you enjoy seeing perfectly good neighborhoods burned to the ground after all of the stores have been looted, Police with families at home being shot in the back of the head, Hollywood movies and commercials being stuffed with enough stereotypes to make one sick, sports events being ruined by rioting, gang wars and disrespect of our flag, people who steal your car at gunpoint, theft on a scale that should be filling our prisons to the roof but nobody going to prison because the AG and other "people of color" think it's unfair to punish their own for anything, even shooting of their neighbors' children - which has led to general lawlessness in the first place. By all means, enjoy your lunch, you ignorant fools. The "Great Reset" isn't going to be anything like you envision.

I would be honored not to be invited to that meal. Have you ever been in a mall food court? It's like feeding time at the zoo with the majority of POC. I would definitely pass on this meal and be glad to starve.

#10, Et Al ~ Please cite chapter and verse for the basis of declaring Lutheranism “a former Christian religious sect.”
Lutherans believe the Bible is “the inspired, infallible and inerrant Word of God and is the only source and norm of Christian doctrine and practice.”
The inerrant Word of God quotes Jesus as saying, “Judge not, that you be not judged.” (Matthew 7 – Judging Others)
The Commandment, “You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.” ~~~ “What does this mean? We should fear and love God so that we do not tell lies about our neighbor, betray him, slander him, or hurt his reputation, but defend him, speak well of him, and explain everything in the kindest way.”
Because the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America Synod) has substituted “its own word for the Word of God” and is in danger “of teaching contrary to Scripture” does not mean that other Lutheran Synods have done the same.
More than 500 years after Martin Luther nailed the 95 Theses to the door of the Castle Church in Wittenberg, Germany, he continues to be maligned by ill-informed and/or dishonest accusations. He was a brilliant, down-to-earth man, and his heart and soul were immersed in his love of God. Scripture teaches, “The steps of a man are established by the Lord...” (Psalm 37:23-24) With that in mind, it may not be inappropriate to consider the possibility that Martin Luther was guided by the Holy Spirit to bring about the Reformation.
