Terrifying moment woman is mugged at knifepoint

A woman was robbed at knifepoint as she waited for the train at an Uptown Manhattan subway stop during rush hour on Thursday as transit crime in New York City continues to rise. The woman, 43, was talking on the phone and waiting for the C train at the West 163rd Street station in Washington Heights at around 6.10pm when a man approached her, according to the New York Police Department. The unidentified attacker flashed a knife and tried to grab her phone as they struggled.(Snip)Police describe him as about 30 years old, 5 ft 7 in tall and 160 pounds with a dark complexion and medium build.

Comments:

A dark complexion is one way to put it. The victim appears to be Asian, which fits a perfectly random pattern. Mass transit ridership is down; experts attribute this to fear of the 'rona, and never you mind the platform pusher or the unhinged assailant.

How "dark" was this man's "dark complexion"? Could he have been from Greenwich Connecticut? Palm Beach Florida? Billings Montana? Canada? Japan? Maine? Finland? New Zealand? Probably just your average Anglo Saxon mugger, rapist and murderer.

When all this robbing started I remember how the elites said that it should be considered reparations because they were only stealing for food and maybe clothes because they had none. Well, THAT did not seem to work out. We should excuse an $800 purse?

If the perpetrator had been wearing red gloves the Democrats would be claiming that he is obviously a Trump supporter. At the moment it really does not matter if the perpetrator is identified and arrested, as the District Attorney in New York City in accordance with his progressive operating agenda would then turn the perpetrator loose on the streets to strike again. Essentially the voters at the State and city levels voted for that to happen.

The administration is awarding $5 billion over five years to states to have them build thousands of electric vehicle charging stations. Another $2.5 billion will go out in grants to be decided later. It all comes from the $1 trillion bipartisan infrastructure plan that was enacted late last year and that the administration continues to sell, amid the collapse of Biden's Build Back Better plan. But Fish and Wildlife agents are among the increasingly broad set of government employees who can now break into encrypted phones and siphon off mounds of data with technology purchased from the surveillance company Cellebrite. Across the federal government, agencies that don’t use Cellebrite technology are increasingly the exception, not the rule. The IRS cost the government more than $400 million over the last three years because it didn’t bother to fix broken mail machines, the agency’s inspector general said in a new report Thursday. The machines are supposed to automatically identify which envelopes contain payments to Uncle Sam, so they can be quickly processed and deposited. But the 20-year-old machines are in such disrepair that they kept missing envelopes with remitted payments. Employees shut them off and resorted to looking for payments by hand—a much slower process. The delays meant checks were deposited more slowly, costing the government hundreds of millions of dollars in lost interest payments, the inspector
