ESPN star J.A. Adande had some absolutely bonkers thoughts on China’s human rights record. Right now, the Olympics are going on in the communist country, and lots of people are upset that games are being held in a country with such horrific treatment of people. Well, Adande thinks Americans shouldn’t speak out against the crimes of the CCP!

President Biden said Thursday that he won’t send US troops into Ukraine to evacuate Americans if Russia invades — saying that the action could trigger a “world war” and “things could go crazy quickly.”
Asked in his first TV interview of 2022 if there’s a scenario that would result in him sending US troops to help trapped Americans, Biden told NBC News anchor Lester Holt, “There’s not. That’s a world war when Americans and Russia start shooting at one another.”
Back in 2013 then vice president Joe Biden told a sometimes serious and sometimes jocular story about the two brain surgeries he needed in 1988 to deal with cranial aneurysms.
Biden told the White House audience “they take a saw and they cut your head off” and “they literally had to take the top of my head off.” He also recounted that as he was being wheeled into surgery he asked the neurosurgeon, “What are my chances of getting off this table completely normal?” The surgeon told Biden he had a better chance of living—and that that chance was in the 35 to 50 percent range.
After shunning her native country and choosing to compete for China, many have questioned US-born Olympic freeskier Eileen Gu’s true allegiances. However, there is one group that Gu proudly associates with, Black Lives Matter.
In March of last year, the California native gave an interview to the South China Morning Post, in which she called herself an “ally” of Black Lives Matter. In the article, Gu lamented the rash of anti-Asian hate crimes occurring across the country. Gu said that she and her grandmother had fallen victim to such an attack.
In Ottawa, authorities have declared a state of emergency over the parked big-rigs, and are now issuing threats to any Canadians who seek to bring supplies to the protesters.
Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson declared a state of emergency Sunday afternoon as approximately 500 trucks and vehicles with the “Freedom Convoy” continue to linger in the streets of the Canadian capital to protest vaccine mandates.
“Declaring a state of emergency reflects the serious danger and threat to the safety and security of residents posed by the ongoing demonstrations and highlights the need for support from other jurisdictions and levels of government,” the city said in a statement.
Tursunay Ziawudun, a survivor of China’s brutal concentration camp system for Uyghur people and other Muslim ethnic groups, accused NBC and Comcast of supporting genocide by airing the 2022 Beijing Olympics in an interview with Breitbart News on Saturday.
Ziawudun joined a large group of mostly Uyghur protesters in front of the White House on Saturday to observe the anniversary of the 1997 Ghulja massacre – which resulted in thousands of arrests and an estimated hundred dead after Uyghurs organized peaceful protests against the communist regime in Beijing in the northwestern city that year – and to protest the Beijing Olympics.
Caitlyn Jenner said University of Pennsylvania transgender swimmer Lia Thomas shouldn’t “be able to compete” in the NCAA.
“From my standpoint, the immediate thing to do is I don’t think she should be able to compete at the highest level in the NCAA,” Jenner shared during a panel discussion Friday on Fox News’ “Outnumbered.”
It started after co-host Harris Faulkner noted that 16 members of the university’s women’s swim team sent a letter to the school that said their transgender teammate “should not be allowed to compete in the collegiate championship next month.”

The owner of an Ohio gas station defended his business against an armed, would-be robber by pulling out his own gun.
Raj Patel has owned a BP gas station in Mount Sterling, Ohio, for the last 23 years. On the night of Jan. 10, he not only had to defend his business but also protect his own life. The incident was caught on surveillance video.
The video shows a man walking up to the counter inside the store. He leaves then quickly returns with a gun. Patel puts the cap back on his drink and pulls out his own gun. As the suspect runs away, he fires one shot then calls police.

A dog named Bullet helped save the lives of a clerk and a store manager in Philadelphia on Tuesday by engaging two armed suspects, the manager said.
The incident took place just before 4:00 a.m. at the Big A corner store in the 5500 block of Torresdale Avenue in the Wissinoming neighborhood, according to KYW.
“Two people come with a big gun and small gun, they come in straight up and put the gun to the girl’s head and my head and said like don’t move,” said store manager Sammy Aloubehi.
The store manager also told local media that Bullet was the reason he and his 32-year old-clerk are still alive.

Juliette Kayyem, who was assistant secretary of homeland security for intergovernmental affairs under President Barack Obama, tweeted the message Thursday in response to footage showing trucks creating gridlock on the Ambassador Bridge, which links the United States and Canada.
