Majority of Americans want Biden to consider
'all possible nominees' for Supreme Court
vacancy: Poll

A new ABC News/Ipsos poll finds that a plurality of Americans view the Supreme Court as motivated by partisanship, while President Joe Biden's campaign trail vow to select a Black woman to fill a high-court vacancy without reviewing all potential candidates evokes a sharply negative reaction from voters. (Snip) During the spring 2020 presidential primaries, days before his set of big wins on Super Tuesday, Biden pledged to nominate the first Black woman to the Supreme Court, if elected. Now, with the chance to do so, just over three-quarters of Americans (76%) want Biden to consider "all possible nominees."

Comments:

Only 23% support Biden's pledge to only consider a black woman as a justice. He's also scraping bottom on pretty much every other issue.

Why does the MSM always say " BIDEN", when Biden is cognitively impaired and is doing NO picking, of anything; it is his handlers making policy and choices. HE has no idea what judges are best for the Supreme Court nominee. Essentially, he knows little to nothing about anything.

Oh stop! It should have been painfully obvious to everyone for at least a decade, that democrats only care about polls when they show approval for their position du jour. If they truly care what the people think, 99% of everything they have pushed over the past 10 years would have been scrapped. If they cared, we wouldn't have Obama care, open borders, vaccine mandates, CRT, abortion on demand, men in women's sports, amnesty, sanctuary cities, lock downs, low flow shower heads and toilets, high dollar energy efficient appliances, etc etc.

Too late. Biden got bullied by a race-hustler (James Clyburn) and is boxed in. Whatever he does will infuriate some voting faction. Sucks to be him.

The media says Biden simply because they have to keep up this farce that he is actually in charge. My guess is, Ron Klain is the one in charge making all the decisions before presenting the final item to Biden. They have to pretend somewhat Biden is in charge or the whole farce ends immediately.

Get ready for the democrats to keep the house and keep the senate in another surprising election outcome. Honest elections are not only last century but worse than that they have become unfashionable.

I have a different take. I want Biden to botch this so badly that the actual nominee only comes up for a vote in a Senate that has a Republican majority. I think he can do that. In other news, with Brady retiring, the Buccaneers have announced that the next quarterback will be a black female.

Seoul, South Korea — North Korea said on Monday that it test-launched an intermediate-range ballistic missile capable of reaching the U.S. territory of Guam, or the U.S. military base on the Japanese island of Okinawa. It was the North's most significant weapon launch in years, as Washington plans steps to show its commitment to its Asian allies. Sunday's launch could be a prelude to bigger provocations by Pyongyang, such as nuclear and long-range missile tests that pose a direct threat to the U.S. mainland, as the North tries to further pressure the Biden administration to win sanction relief or international recognition

COLUMBIA, S.C. — At President Joe Biden’s lowest moment in the 2020 campaign, South Carolina Rep. Jim Clyburn came to him with a suggestion: He should pledge to put the first Black woman on the Supreme Court. After some cajoling, Biden made the promise at a Democratic debate, a move Clyburn credits with turning out the Black support that helped Biden score a resounding victory in the South Carolina primary and ultimately win the White House. Two years later, the hoped-for vacancy on the court has arrived with the retirement of Justice Stephen Breyer. Biden is standing by his pledge.

The housing shortage has forced many potential buyers to move into rental properties as they look for their next home (and often find themselves on the wrong side of a bidding war). That option, however, is becoming increasingly expensive. Rent prices jumped 12% last year for a median one-bedroom apartment, hitting an all-time high, according to Zumper, the nation’s third largest real estate platform. A median two-bedroom apartment saw rent prices jump more than 14%. The median price for a one-bedroom rent reached $1,374 in January. The median price of a two-bedroom apartment reached $1,698. This averages out to about 160 residents per day, Emily Harris, the Gardner Institute’s senior demographer, said in a press statement. According to a June 2021 report published by Harris, California is bringing the most domestic in-migrants to Utah, accounting for a whopping 16.6%. Dave Anderton, communications director at

Natural-gas futures tallied their largest one-day percentage gain on record Thursday, up more than 46%, with the rally fueled by the expiration of the February contracts, and a “classic” short squeeze as a winter storm looms in the Northeast. “This is why it’s so dangerous to be short natural gas in the winter,” said Phil Flynn, senior market analyst at The Price Futures Group. “It’s especially dangerous to be short at a time when the expiration is right around the corner.” February natural gas climbed $1.99, or 46.5%, to settle at $6.265 per million British thermal units on Thursday. President Joe Biden’s approval rating has fallen off a cliff in Georgia, according to an Atlanta Journal-Constitution poll released Thursday that showed just one-third of registered voters approve of the Democrat’s job performance. That’s a sharp decline from the 51% of voters who gave Biden high marks in the AJC’s May poll. And it’s a troubling sign for Democrats eager to build off their victories in the last election, which ended with a narrow Biden victory and a Democratic sweep of U.S. Senate runoffs. The poll also found Gov. Brian Kemp ahead of Democrat Stacey Abrams in an early test
