Guns, guns, and more guns. These days the complexity of gun ownership in this country is just that, complex.
To me, the Second Amendment is pretty straightforward. The question I have is when is it appropriate to get the gun out? When is the right time?
Is it the right time to shoot a dog during a dog fight, or if a dog attacks you?
A video from Oregon today shows a man who guns down his neighbors’ pitbull after it came running towards him in his front yard.

Rep. Greg Murphy (R-NC) told Breitbart News on Friday that the GOP Doctors Caucus is “infuriated” that the Biden administration and Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and the president’s top medical adviser, have “been all about vaccination” and not therapeutics in their response to the coronavirus outbreak.“We’re not going to vaccinate our way out of it,” Murphy, a urologist, said on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily with host Alex Marlow. He said, “I’m a vice chair of the GOP Doctors Caucus. We are infuriated — infuriated — that this has all been about vaccination. Fauci has been, ‘Vaccination, vaccination, vaccination,’ rather than therapeutics.”

Months after Stephen Hayes quit Fox News over Tucker Carlson’s conspiratorial rhetoric about the Jan. 6 riots, the conservative author and pundit has landed at NBC News.
“I’ve known and worked with Steve Hayes on and off for nearly 25 years,” Meet the Press anchor Chuck Todd said in a Friday morning statement announcing Hayes’ new role as a network contributor. “He is a principled reporter and analyst who always puts truth and facts above emotion and sentiment.”
Hayes was a Fox News contributor for 12 years and was once a writer for the now-defunct Weekly Standard before co-founding The Dispatch, a center-right website offering an anti-Trump alternative for conservative audiences.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has agreed to hold talks with Germany, France and Ukraine as NATO fails to take action on the rising conflict in Easter Europe and President Joe Biden's announcement on Friday that he would deploy troops 'in the near term' without backing from NATO. The blow to NATO and exclusion of America in negotiation talks on the Russian-Ukraine crisis came after Putin accused the U.S. and NATO of ignoring the Kremlin's 'fundamental concerns' over NATO's growth during a call with French President Emmanuel Macron on Friday.(Snip)Although the scheduled talks between the European nations raises hopes for peace, it undermines America's involvement by excluding the U.S.

One of the main tenants for a stable and law-abiding society is a judicial system that enforces laws and ensures equal justice for all.The reverse is true in progressive cities, resulting in an increase in crime. Various government organizations, even all the way up to the Department of Justice, have gone astray. Social justice warriors are now in positions in the DOJ to implement “racial justice”, which determines how to prosecute cases based on the race and/or social justice cause, not commensurate with the crimes committed.A perfect example can be seen in a murder committed by a BLM arsonist.

A Joe Biden voter explained why he became "disgusted" with the president's administration and raised concerns about the direction the Democratic Party is headed.
"A year in and I'm disgusted with them both. I'm disgusted with [Vice President] Kamala Harris and Joe Biden," Isaiah Carter, a New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) worker and member of the Democratic Party, told Fox News.
Carter listed critical race theory and the Afghanistan withdrawal as key issues he has with Biden. He also faulted the president's COVID-19 policies and his propagating of gender ideology issues, especially among school-age children, by the administration. Carter has voted Democrat in the past four presidential elections

At a critical point in the 1980 campaign, Ronald Reagan had enough and cleaned house of his senior political advisors including campaign manager John Sears. One staffer would later recall, “Ronald Reagan would not have come so close in 1976 had he not hired John Sears; and Ronald Reagan would not have won the GOP nomination had he not fired John Sears in 1980.”
As it does on so many occasions, history repeats itself. Like Reagan before him, Donald Trump now must clean house if he hopes to make a serious political comeback.
Trump’s 2016 win was mostly of his own doing. Being the outsider candidate that he was,

Getting old is neither easy nor fun. It’s part of life, and it’s a challenge we all must face. One key aspect of that challenge is being able to stay current. We must strive to not only understand the changes affecting our families, our individual health, and our own spheres of influence, but we must also work to grasp the realities of an ever-changing society. Neil Young is a 76-year-old singer/songwriter and, based on his sparse musical output over the past few decades, his recent focus has not been on producing compelling, appealing music. And after what we witnessed this week, it’s also safe to say that Mr. Young

New Yorkers have plenty of reservations—about going out to eat.
Table bookings in Manhattan restaurants are down 64% in January 2022 compared to pre-pandemic January 2020–only San Francisco (-66%) and Cambridge, Mass. (-75%) have fared worse, according to new data released by OpenTable and crunched by celebrity statistician Nate Silver of FiveThirtyEight.com. Brooklyn boites are starved for diners, too, with reservations down 55%. Data for the other boroughs were not available. “It’s a ghost town out there,” one Little Italy restaurant manager told The Post, citing the failure of city officials to contain crime and chaos, which drives away both tourists and local diners.

By all appearances, the Democrat Party is going to be delivered a beatdown of historic proportions in the 2022 midterm elections the likes of which haven’t been seen since at least the 2010 election.Or that should be the case, at least. With the prize seemingly there for the taking, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy is reportedly seeking advice from “the grandfather of House Republicans,” Newt Gingrich, who engineered the 1994 Republican Revolution with the Contract with America, taking back control of the House after a 40-year drought. From 1933 until 1995, Republicans controlled both the House and Senate for only four years.

Neil Young (76), better known as “and Young,” was the first. A few days later, there were rumors that Barry Manilow (78) followed, but he appeared to deny them via Twitter on Friday afternoon. The same day, before the Denny’s early bird special expired, Peter Frampton (71) appears to have joined “and Young’s” tenuous movement. Let’s call it, “Boomers for Censorship.”
If you’re not aware, earlier this week, “and Young” threatened to remove his music catalogue from Spotify if the corporate media behemoth did not remove the “Joe Rogan Experience” podcast from its platform.
