Mother of 6-month-old killed in drive-by

Kerri Gray had just parked outside an Atlanta food market she often visited when she turned around and saw her baby slumped over in his car seat. When she noticed a pool of blood in his lap, her heart began to race. On Tuesday afternoon, less than 24 hours after the fatal drive-by shooting of 6-month-old Grayson Matthew Fleming-Gray, Atlanta’s mayor and police chief announced the arrest of 22-year-old Dequasie Jonathan Little.(Snip)She said she knew Grayson was gone the moment she pressed him against her white fleece sweater, which remains stained with his blood.

Comments:

This is a hard story to read, and as usual it's an entirely senseless escapade involving Africans, at least one of them ("Dequasie") a repeat criminal loose on the streets, shooting at one another and hitting bystanders instead. The black mayor chalks it up to "gun violence" gone out of control; those darned guns. Whatever happened to the Back to Africa movement? Maybe make it involuntary in such cases.

Going by Dequasie's age (22) and what AJC claims is the start of his criminal record, they're skipping his "youthful offender" crimes, which must be shocking and extensive given how mean he looks. FTA: "Little has a criminal record that dates to 2018, when he was accused of aggravated assault, according to jail and court records. He was arrested in January 2019 and released less than two months later on $20,000 bond, records show. At the time, Little had pending charges in Houston and Peach counties. In April 2019, he was returned to the Fulton jail and then back to Houston County, booking records show. Last year, Little was arrested in September in connection with the same case, which remains open."

A car of angry black men sped past a white woman driving responsibly and decide to take a shot at her, demonstrating yet again that it's open season on white people in Atlanta. What they don't know was that this white girl was the baby-momma to another brothers offspring in the back seat. (Father unnamed/unknown). Sometimes even when they try to execute a hate crime, they still end up adding to the black on black murder rate. This nightmare will continue because people would sooner see babies executed then call it what it is and address the problem.

He reportedly said Ukraine would not be getting significantly more military help, including reiterating that no U.S. troops would be deployed there, nor would there be preemptive sanctions on Russia or any progress with NATO. The warning was not part of a White House readout provided after the call. The two world leaders conversed on the phone as the Department of Defense was issuing

Washington—Republicans’ faith in science is falling as Democrats rely on it even more, with a trust gap in science and medicine widening substantially during the COVID-19 pandemic, new survey data shows. It’s the largest gap in nearly five decades of polling by the General Social Survey, a widely respected trend survey conducted by NORC at the University of Chicago that has been measuring confidence in institutions since 1972. That is unsurprising to more than a dozen scientists reached for comment by The Associated Press, but it concerns many of them. Science used to be something all Americans would get behind, Rice University historian Douglas Brinkley said.
