Secretary of State Antony Blinken said it's possible Kremlin officials are just 'going through the motions' of diplomacy on Sunday after a week of intense international talks aimed at de-escalating Russian aggression on Ukraine's border. Even after meeting with his Russian counterpart, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, in Geneva on Friday, Blinken admitted on NBC's Meet The Press that Moscow could still invade the smaller former Soviet state despite the efforts of Western governments. The US's chief diplomat also would not rule out possible American military involvement in the worsening conflict,

I’m convinced this Blinken guy and Mayor Pete could switch cabinet positions and it would probably be several months before anyone noticed.

Now that the pandemic is nearing an end they need something else to create an issue so they can make the midterms an issue. They need an emergency. I bet biden will declare a national emergency so he can cancel the elections.

We're going to send YOUR sons and daughters to some far off hell hole to be sacrificed for the good of old poopy-pants. But they'll have to be vaccinated first, so if a bullet doesn't get them, the Wuhan flu will!

As #5 said, will Blinken send his kids to Ukraine to fight the Russian Army?

My 2 grandsons, both military age, are not expendables for a war in the Ukraine run by this administration and the likes of Anthony Blinken, Austin and Milley. We are still mourning the military pullout he presided over in August, this cannot be allowed to happen again.

Dude just surrendered to the Taliban...NOW he wants to beat his chest and threaten the Russians? For what? Hunter Bidens benefactors????
He and the Dems falsely claimed Russians hacked USA elections, when they KNEW it wasn't true, has been bashing Russia for 5 years straight now. Ukraine has the 3rd largest military in Europe, behind only Russia and France. He and Obama screwed around in Ukraine elections leading to Russia re-annexing Crimea. Unilaterally removed sanctions on their pipeline, at the same time he unilaterally sanctioned Canada/US pipelines.Filibustered Repubs attempts to re-enforce those sanctions just yesterday while DEMANDING an end to Filibusters.
I would NOT be surprised at all if hundreds (if not thousands) of US Troops said "HellNo, We won't go"
1st waves of Jets alone will lose dozens, of even stealth stuff, just to ground based defenses, likely many times more to Russian fighters. For a "Cause" he has zero intention of trying to actually "Win"

They will be no massive consequences. The consequences will be Russian diplomats will be sent home from the US and an embargo on Beluga caviar and French champagne will be imposed. Hunter well get a bonus for the economic sanctions to be non existent.

Blinken sounds like Saddam Hussein blustering about "the mother of all battles" just before he got his butt kicked back to Baghdad. We have given Ukraine less than one percent of the military equipment that we left in Afghanistan. If I were back in the military right now, I wouldn't be there for long.
