The Democrats' Voting Rights Agenda Isn't
for Us. It's for Them

Original Article

Like the one plaguing shelves in grocery stores across America, there is a supply shortage of racism in the country—but when it comes to the leaders of the Democratic Party, the demand remains high. The Democrats seem to think that the rallying cry of racism is essential to galvanizing their most loyal demographic, Black Americans. And that's how they have been talking about their new voting rights bill, the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act.

I walked away from the Democratic Party 26 years ago because of its decision to double down on using race to “divide and conquer.” I was in my early 30’s at the time and was active in politics. My family was big in our local Democratic Party and I had aspirations to run for office one day. I had also witnessed in my short lifetime great improvements in race relations. Nationally. Locally and especially among family and friends. Things were better and getting better all the time. You could see it with your own eyes. I was proud of where we had come as a country. But the Democratic Party was never about race relations. It was, is and always will be about power and control. I put my core principles and values ahead of my political party and walked away. It cost me family and friends and that continues to this day. That said…….I may have lost some family and friends, but I haven’t lost my soul. And we are a better nation. We are not a nation of racists. The Democratic Party needs people to believe we are for them to keep their false narrative alive. For them to gain power and control. The democrats have been very successful spinning this false narrative, but like all false narratives, they don’t stand the test of time. The brave author of this article is not alone and when the black community finally has enough of the patronizing low bigotry of liberal white democrats there will be a backlash that will kill the Democratic Party as we know it. I think we are getting close. This old white guy that the Democrats put up to lead them is waking a lot of black Americans up. It doesn’t make a difference what CNN or MSNBC say when your standard of living has gone down and for the black community they saw a quick uptick with Trump in office and even a quicker fall when Biden took over. This election cycle will be very interesting.

Ever since Newsweek was sold the last time, they have confused me. Every so often, they publish stuff like this which suggests they are no longer part of the propaganda arm of the Democratic Party. Then the next 3 articles I see from them are very much Democratic Party propaganda.

If one looks at what is in the Democrats voting rights bill,it would do what they are accusing the Republicans of doing. If Democrats manage to ram this through, voting would resemble Valenzuela elections

Black Americans ought to be highly offended by this paternalistic “protection” at the polls. Only Blacks, it appears, are incapable of doing literally anything in society without white liberal laws.

According to Statista, 82.66% of Americans live in cities or urban areas and the number creeps up every year, as Democrats well know. The Democrat agenda to inflame blacks confirms them as evil. Blacks who know better should take the lead in countering Democrat racism.

A large majority of Americans say they support restrictions on abortion, a new poll from the Knights of Columbus and Marist Poll suggests. In the survey of 1,004 adults, pollsters found that 71 percent of Americans think abortion should be heavily limited and only allowed in certain instances. (snip) Of the Americans who favor more regulation on killing unborn babies in the womb, 22 percent think abortion should be illegal beyond the first trimester. Another 28 percent think abortion should be allowed only in cases of rape, incest, or to save the mother’s life, while 9 percent say it should be allowed only when the mother’s life is threatened.

With Paul Manafort’s explosive new book, Political Prisoner, we finally have a full and honest detailed account of how the U.S. government, the not-so-special Special Counsel Robert Mueller, and particularly the FBI treated anyone and everyone connected to Donald Trump. The plain truth is they were after him—and would stop at nothing in their quest of subversion. I would know, because I, too,was in their sights. Detained at Boston’s Logan Airport, the FBI grilled me about the 2016 campaign, specific persons involved, Wikileaks, Roger Stone, Nigel Farage, and Russia.

When some people acquire power, they act like wolves. They take whatever savage actions are needed to win and dominate. They turn their opponents and critics into sheep, who learn to be quiet or face vicious attacks and destruction. Think of Joseph Stalin killing his rivals. Think of the Castro brothers torturing, imprisoning and exiling political opponents. Consider the decay of Zimbabwe under Robert Mugabe, as political opponents were imprisoned, killed and exiled. Recall the ruthlessness of Hugo Chavez in taking over Venezuela.

Every year for the past 48 years, anti-abortion activists have gathered in our nation's capital to protest the 1973 Supreme Court decision Roe v. Wade, which legalized abortion in all 50 states. This year, faced with the realistic prospect of that decision being overturned, hopes are at an all-time high. This is one important change that will make the annual March for Life feel different. A less striking change will be the large contingent of progressives and liberals who are turning up in greater numbers each year.

Associate Supreme Court Justices Neil Gorsuch and Sonia Sotomayor put out a joint statement on Wednesday denying a recent report that Gorsuch refused to wear a mask during oral arguments, forcing Sotomayor to participate in proceedings remotely. National Public Radio legal correspondent Nina Totenberg claimed in a Tuesday column that Gorsuch refused a request from Chief Justice John Roberts that all justices wear masks during oral arguments as a result of Sotomayor’s fears about the Omicron variant. Sotomayor, who has diabetes, “has not attended the justices’ weekly conference in person, joining instead by telephone” as a result of Gorsuch’s refusal, Totenberg wrote.

California has settled litigation against its inclusion of prayers to Aztec and Yoruba gods that were approved in the state's ethnic studies "model curriculum" this spring. The lawsuit alleged that children were expected to participate in these prayers or "face the social implications of declining to participate," a violation of their free exercise. The plaintiffs claim the California Constitution is stricter than the U.S. Constitution on separation of church and state.

Spend enough time studying the “racial equity” and “ethnic studies” programs sweeping school districts across the nation and you’ll find that they are following in the footsteps, on a several-year delay, of one of America’s most progressive cities: Seattle. It’s worth examining, then, how all that worked out in Seattle. Despite decades of the most aggressive equity programs anyone could ask for, Seattle’s racial disparities are among the worst in the nation – and they’re getting worse, not better.

If President Joe Biden’s disorderly and lethal Afghanistan withdrawal was the moment that fractured voters' regard for him, then his vicious Atlanta speech last week may be the moment that defines his presidency. Speaking Tuesday at Morehouse College and Clark Atlanta University, Biden uttered venomous, brutal accusations lacking factual basis. His shouting-in-the-wind delivery was inexplicable, and his decision to lash out at members of his own party — Sens. Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema — appears to have only strengthened their resolve not to give in to his demands.

In Shakespeare's "Othello," the character Iago famously declared that "men in rage strike those that wish them best." It was a warning that Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.) now understands all too well. Both Sinema and Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) have refused to be bullied into changing the filibuster rule — a rule that forces the parties into dialogue and compromise. Sinema supports the voting rights legislation but sees this move as endangering any chance of national healing and resolution. She stated on the Senate floor that "we have but one democracy. We can only survive, we can only keep her, if we do so together."

On Wednesday, the Wisconsin Assembly held another election integrity hearing to present evidence of voter fraud and irregularities that have been found in their investigation of the rigged 2020 election. And just like last month’s election hearing, they dropped some serious bombshells. Yesterday’s hearing built on those findings and presented more questions for the Wisconsin Elections Commission (WEC), which has failed to answer previous questions on the 2020 election. They did however respond to the reported 119,283 active voters who have been registered for over 100 years, but their weak response just didn’t cut it.

The CDC has officially moved the goalposts on what it means to be vaccinated from COVID-19. We all knew this day was coming, even as an onslaught of “fact-checkers” assured us it was “misinformation” to assert such a change was coming publicly. But first, let’s talk about the details. CDC Dir. Rochelle Walensky appeared on CBS News and shared the news that the two-dose regiment will no longer suffice to be considered “fully vaccinated.” Instead, you will need a booster jab in order to be classified as “up to date.” That comes as part of a “pivot” in language by the government, one that many were maligned for predicting.
