A deranged man shoved an Asian woman to her death in front of an oncoming subway train Saturday morning in Times Square, police and sources told The Post. The horrifying episode unfolded at around 9:40 a.m. when the unidentified woman was struck by a southbound R train at the Times Square N/Q/R line on West 42nd Street and Broadway, an NYPD spokeswoman said. The attack appeared random, sources said. “A person of interest has been taken into custody,” the department spokeswoman said. Police could be seen leading away a disheveled-looking man in a ripped sweatshirt

I have visited many of the large US Cities during my lifetime, including NYC a number of times. But I am committed to avoiding them the remainder of my years. I want to remember visiting them when they were safe, clean, and efficient and not an experience into the third-world environment that they are today.

We used to keep dangerous lunatics in locked mental wards....back when the lunatics weren't running the asylum. When in a big city, anywhere, I caution my wife (and I) to stand well back from the edge, often sitting or standing at the wall, so nobody is behind us, until the train stops. Then get on. It has never seemed reasonable to trust a bunch of random strangers in nutball big cities with your life by standing on the edge of the platform.

It is interesting that the perpetrators in these crimes are characterized as "deranged." Being a reporter qualifies you as a psychiatrist. Closing down most of the long-term mental facilities and not forcing antipsychotic medicines on the mentally ill has severe consequences for the ill and the public. I have personal experience with the situation.

Why is it that when Black perpetrators physically attack, and more often now murder innocent Asian people who they come across on the streets, that the media portray those perpetrators as being deranged men or women, when is is obvious that those crimes are instances of targeted racial hate? Notice you never see Biden comment on those instances of racial hate because there are never “White Supremacists” in the picture.

"Deranged " I wonder if they will run out of adjectives before NY runs out of Asian Americans. The body count is getting pretty high, their thesaurus can't hold out much longer - skipping the "A"'s and the "B"'s makes it harder.

Habeck now says that the country has a “gigantic task” ahead should it still wish to achieve its goal of making itself climate neutral. But the depths of the corruption, and how far bad actors are willing to go in corrupting our society, has largely remained hidden. But there are encouraging signs.
