Almost a year ago, Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell agreed with majority leader Chuck Schumer to an equal power-sharing agreement for the upcoming session, reflecting the 50-50 split between the parties (with Kamala Harris as the tie-breaking vote). In exchange, McConnell agreed to allow the question of the filibuster’s continued existence to be brought up to a vote. He did so because Senators Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema promised not to end the filibuster. That was an incredible gamble but, on Thursday, Manchin and Sinema came through on a filibuster vote. A furious Biden started hollering about the horrors of life without federalizing American elections
Let's be honest if it weren't for Sinema, Manchin would have done what he always did in the past, and that is, to fold like a cheap suit. As someone aptly put it, Manchin's vote is always there when you don't really need it. But give him credit, he knows how to use the spotlight to make the folks back home think he actually cares what they think. Check his voting record and you will see otherwise.

The additional consequence of this is that Biden is getting more and more frustrated. As such, he continues to demonstrate during interviews and press meetings that he is losing it. No way he lasts three more years. Meanwhile, Kamala is searching for a liberal journalist who will not ask her any hard questions.

Well Chuckles isn't done with these two yet. He is going to go ahead and schedule the vote for next Tuesday on the filibuster carve out anyway, and force them to put their opposition on the record. He wants to make sure all of America knows what racists they are for opposing one party rule.
What would be great is if their stand encourages a few other Dems to vote no as well, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

I realize that a lot of people on this site don't like Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell. True, there is no love lost between him and President Trump, but I imagine him a year ago, pouring on the gracious Southern Gentleman charm as he asked Chuck Schumer to share power. And all the while, Sen. McConnell knew he had Sens. Manchin's and Sinema's promise not to break the filibuster. Sen. McConnell is crafty, and cunning, and I would not want him as an enemy. I give him credit where credit is due.

Video; Biden tells how democrats stole the 2020 election and twice for Obama.
The Marxist Communist democrats, republicrats GOPe, etc., are the real danger to America from within.
Biden himself with a slip of his tongue, for once told the truth of the Marxist Communist democrats and they are all guilty of treason.
October 2020, before the election; speaking to former Barack Obama staffers on Pod Save America, host Dan Pfeiffer asked Biden what his message was to people who have not yet voted.
https://youtu.be/C6u1uKznCYw
Biden's confession starts at time 17:40 on video interview.
Joe Biden: "Well, first of all, you know, uh, what really rankles, uh, my opponent is I say that, uh, the thing that bothers him most is he’s not a patch on Barack’s jeans."
"Secondly, we’re in a situation where we have put together — and you’d [sic] guys, did it for our, the president Obama’s administration, before this — we have put together, I think, the most extensive and and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics."
Biden does not correct himself after saying “voter fraud organization,” nor did the hosts attempt to correct or clarify his statement.

#6 Good point that should not be overlooked.
Another “incredible gamble” kept Biden’s fascist AG Merrill Garland off the Supreme Court.

West Virginians accept Manchin as the only remaining democrat representing them in DC, but he knows that the Mountain State is very red (68% Trump voters) and if he does not hold true on supporting the filibuster, he will become very persona non grata back home, and will have no political future in that state.
In fact, Manchin would greatly enhance his electability by flipping to republican as he was re-elected the last time by 49% of the vote in a three way contest.

Sinema is impressive, tough as nails, and stands her ground. As her constituent, I've contacted her office several times and amazingly she personally responded by phone. The Dems better not mess with her. She means business; she's not a fluff.
