Senate Republicans are threatening to force votes on a slew of bills designed to split the Democratic caucus and take over the floor agenda should Majority Leader Charles Schumer carry out his threat to push through a change in Senate filibuster rules for voting rights.
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, who has been leading a Republican filibuster against the bills, threatened to use Senate rules to call up a raft of legislation in response – including bills that might peel off a vote a or two from vulnerable Democrats.
'Since Sen. Schumer is hellbent on trying to break the Senate,

It’s about time to start playing hardball. Don’t give these left wing socialists an inch. Use every possible procedure including “dirty tricks “ to stop them at every chance.

This is how you stop the nonsense in Congress. If one side breaks/bends the rules, the other side should respond in kind. Eventually, both sides will tire of the chaos and establish a truce. I blame the Dems for ignoring the rules and the Repubs for letting them.

All of that damage was done by Joe's pen, it should be easy to reverse when he is declared incompetent. Joe - you are incompetent.

Make the case, Republicans! Create the posters and make the argument on the floor and in interviews. Speak in facts, data, truth and evidence. You must be more pro-active. Refute with facts their arguments made solely on emotion. There is ample evidence that shows most western countries require ID before voting and yet democrats vilify us for requiring it. How anyone who calls themselves a Republican and refuses to get into the fray in this environment is a coward. We need everyone united to defeat this corrupt party. You wanted the job, now do it!

The GOP is part of the problem. It is not the solution. You are the solution and you know what must be done.

Mitch is an uninspiring speaker and personality but can't deny he knows how to use the rules. I'd still like to see him replaced but won't likely happen.

The same Republican Party that allowed the steal in 2020? I call BS. The Republican Party is acting, this is theater. All meant to make you think they are serious about confronting the monster their cowardice created. Its time to end the show, its time to form a new party. Its time to make sure the act does not continue. There is very little that remains of America that is worth saving, none of it will be saved as long as the fake Republican party exists.

Given the outrageous inflation, the soaring cost of gas and home heating energy, dependence on the insane Middle East for oil, and the empty shelves Americans are suffering, I would bet that there are several demonrats from purple states who would be willing to vote on opening the pipeline.
Good move, Mitch. Now, don’t back down.

Bingo poster 13. This is all theatre. Mitch is throwing we conservatives a bone by saying he is going to do this and that and hold the line and delay this matter and force a vote.......yadayada. Meanwhile Chuckie schmuckie is throwing a bone to his radical base saying he's going to do this and that, blah, blah, blah. Meanwhile, the two of them have cut their deal. My bet is in that deal, the country will lose big time, and Mitch and the deep state will gain, big time. This is theatre and not even good theatre.

Strange the the eGOP wants to fight now that their careers are on the line. But they refused to fight after the blatantly rigged 2020 election.

We are already hearing about the tyrannical minority (Republicans) daring to question anything that the Democrats propose as a threat to Democracy. Just think how the Democrats would howl with despair and horror if Republicans regain power and Democrats have removed safeguards like the filibuster.
