LONDON — More than 50% of Europe’s population will be infected with the highly contagious omicron Covid-19 variant over the next two months, according to forecasts shared by a top World Health Organization official. Dr. Hans Kluge, the WHO’s regional director for Europe, cited data from the Seattle-based Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation at a news briefing Tuesday, saying a new “West to East tidal wave” of omicron infections was sweeping across the region, on top of the previous delta variant which is still prevalent. “It [omicron] is quickly becoming the dominant virus in Western Europe and is now

WHO's on first? This is a safe guess on their part considering that this little cold is spreading like an oil slick in the Gulf of Mexico. The wife and I got over it a few weeks ago with the aid of a couple of cough drops.

Well, if true, then it will pretty much end things because they'll then be actually immune, and apparently very, very few will be seriously ill. This is how this damned Dem-panic ends, it is starting to seem like. The mutated, less lethal version runs through the population, not killing any or many and making everyone immune.

This sounds like more computer modeling, which was wildly inflated t the beginning of Covid 19. It is akin to the models on which Al Gore predicted the end of snow, and an ice-free arctic every summer.

Omicron is a variant from the COVID vaccinations. So, are they going to vaccinate again and create another mutation? This is utter madness. Time to throw in the towel and treat this plague.

Given the evidenced low risk involved with the Omicron strain, that is a very GOOD THING because it will give a huge fillip to the stimulation of NATURAL HERD IMMUNITY: and bye bye vaccines and bye bye Covid.

Inflation has become one of the top economic issues in the U.S., and the Biden administration is acting accordingly with various policy actions. U.S. consumer prices rose 0.5% in December and 7.0% on a year-over-year basis, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. It's the fastest rate since 1982. Two of the biggest drivers of price spikes over 2021 have been in food and energy which is likely the reason the White House has focused on both of those sectors both for inflation as well as antitrust reasons. Tying the two issues together is not without critics, even among Democrats.

Cawthorn, who represents North Carolina's 11th congressional district, made baseless claims about the 2020 election at the "Save America Rally," which preceded the Capitol riot. Most Americans today have a romanticized (and extraordinarily narrow) historical understanding of the conflict that we call the Civil War. In their imaginations, it goes something like this: With passions inflamed by a moral renaissance in the North regarding the institution of slavery in the South, the two sides decided to go to war over the issue. In the end, the evil South was righteously razed by the armies of the North, and thus, slavery was ended, and the former slaves made American citizens, as Abraham Lincoln intended.
