When U.S. Capitol Police Lt. Michael Byrd went on “NBC Nightly News” to tell his side of shooting and killing unarmed Jan. 6 rioter Ashli Babbitt, he made a point to note he’d been investigated by several agencies and exonerated for his actions that day. (snip) Byrd then answered a series of questions by Holt about the shooting, but what he told the friendly journalist, he likely never told investigators. That’s because he refused to answer their questions, according to several sources and documents reviewed by RealClearInvestigations.

When the crimes are committed under the color of authority, there will be no justice. The police and the courts are bought and paid for. Justice will have to come from another source. Our government is corrupt beyond redemption.

Ashli's shooting was an absolute outrage. To add insult to injury the Capital Police has the nerve to cremate her within 3 days??? What if Ashli's religion forbids this?? Usually, a family makes this decision not the rotten police in DC. And this dumber than dumb black police jerk feels he saved the world. Of course, Lester would not allow his cosmetically maintained mug to start creasing with a loud laugh that did not stop for 10 minutes.

I saw the clip of that dummy Byrd's interview with the Five Head Holt. He sounded like a moron who though that he was a superhero saving the world from an evil Trump supporting terrorist. This is the same idiot who left his weapon in a Capitol rest room. Keystone cop doesn't even begin to describe how stupid this guy is. Even Barney Fife from The Andy Griffith Show had more gun discipline.

Christian colleges in Minnesota will be allowed to keep offering college credits to high school students — for now. On Wednesday, the Minnesota District Court issued an injunction prohibiting the enforcement of an amendment that greenlights discrimination against religious students. Under Minnesota’s 1985 Post Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) program, capable students can earn free college credits at local institutions of higher education while they are still in high school. (snip) An amendment passed during the 2023 legislative session, however, removed religious colleges from the program by prohibiting these postsecondary schools from requiring a statement of faith from students.

Kennedy. When asked by podcast host and comedian Joe Rogan if he was concerned that the CIA could try to take him out too, Kennedy replied, “Well, I gotta be careful. I’m aware of that, you know, I’m aware of that danger. I don’t live in fear of it at all.” He added: “But I’m not stupid about it, and I take precautions.”

Its latest investigation, titled “The Great Grift,” highlighted the staggering scope of fraud taxpayers face because of Covid-era programs. On the heels of earlier AP investigations that showed significant spending on projects that had little to do with the coronavirus, the story provides one major explanation — albeit an infuriating one — for our nearly $32 trillion-and-counting federal debt.
