BUMPED by request. Unfortunately, there is a lot of wrong information being discussed and shared. Even reputable regional media are giving inaccurate information, making wrong interpretations {LINK}, and generally getting the explanations wrong. Additionally, there’s general misinterpretations of ordinary outages based on the day of the week (Sunday) and bad weather in the Northeast {ex Twitter Thread}.All of these #BidensEmptyShelves assumptions, which are being heightened by increased attention and social media, are leading to confusion.
An empty retail shelf or case for a 24, 36 to 48-hour period is not, I repeat, NOT, part of a systemic supply chain disruption. Those are mostly location and regional specific out

Last night it was half gallons of 2% milk and fresh orange juice for online orders to be picked up today… Never happened before.

Who is "Sundance" and why should I give any more credence to an un-signed article than I would to a Facebook post.
Signed: Almost a "prepper" but need more than theory

CTH believes the empty shelves are Temporary. Temporary for the Biden Administration is very long term. The container crisis still exists, as the ship traffic has been moved many miles off shore, and truck drivers are in short supply. There is no potato shortage, there is a potato processing issue, that due to covid and federal regulations wont be fixed in the near term. Biden is going after big meat, just as his buddy Xi has bought American processing plants. Bottom line, just like everything else in the Biden Administration, #EmptyShelves is a symptom of a Fubar'd Presidency. Sorry CTH.

I saw empty shelves in the store today - missing a lot of paper and cleaning products. I saw that during the height of the "covid" pandemic. Think we're mimicking Russia at this point.

Outside Philly supermarket, no OJ, never happened before. Just before Christmas, no eggs available or whip cream. I guess it was all needed for the vegetable's ice-cream. In the old USSR people stood in line for hours, sometimes they had no idea what they were selling. Sommer sandals in a Russian winter, well, just what everyone wanted and needed when they reached the front of the line! We are getting to that place.

Re #2, he has had experience in grocery supermarket management.

Re #4, it’s been my long experience that paper and cleaning products are the first thing the hoarders hit.

All of it is self inflicted by very our own government including the development of Covid-19 in partnership with the ChiComs and the disastrous response to its release by the CDC and the fraud Fauci!

Sundance (a.k.a. Mark Bradman) used to be a Publix employee. Doing what exactly, I am not sure.

I went to the gas station last week and I wanted some coffee but there weren't any small cups. I asked the cashier if they had any. She said we cannot get small cups. If you buy a medium cup, we will charge you the price of a small cup.

This is a great article: short and to-the-point, it describes what is expected to happen, why, warning signs to look for to know when, and what to do about it.
Since it happens to be about *food* it is pretty relevant to ALL of us.

Doubters of this unfolding crisis, especially those living in cities and suburbs, will be among the first in line for their government supplied Soylent Green. That may give Mexican food a whole new meaning.

#2 must be NEW to Lucianne. Anyone who has been coming here any length of time and has read any Sundance's posts will know he is the real deal. It doesn't take long to figure that out.. We are thankful the mods share his thoughts with us.

We're resigned to the fact that you must visit 2-3 different grocery stores to obtain the products you want/need. The prices of many items has noticeably increased in just the last few weeks too. And we always grab a shopping cart that is out in the parking lot. There's only a 50/50 chance anyone is rounding up the carts outside and bringing them in.

(13) A consistent shortage of milk products and/or ancillaries.
Again, where is all the heavy whipping cream?
