No one’s saying that George Soros is the devil. That would be silly. That would be childish.(snip)
That said, if the devil were on earth, there’s nothing he’d do that Soros isn’t already doing.
Just when New Yorkers thought they might get a reprieve from the unprecedented explosion of violent crime and anarchy that’s plagued their city since George Floyd’s chiropractic procedure went south, just when it seemed like ex-cop mayor-elect Eric Adams was going to bring back something resembling law and order, in comes new Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg—a man whose campaign was funded by Soros—and voilà, like magic, the pushback against crime ends, and Adams reverses himself on his “restore

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff’s (D-CA) office said it would be “catastrophic” if Republicans take the House in 2022 and remove him from the intelligence committee, as Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) told Breitbart News he would do in an exclusive interview published Monday.
Schiff spokesperson Lauren French responded in a statement to Politico:
It is always difficult to take Kevin McCarthy seriously. Nevertheless, allowing McCarty to get anywhere near the Speaker’s gavel would be catastrophic — not just because of his propensity for falsehoods and smears, but because he will exist solely to do Donald Trump’s bidding — even potentially overturning the 2024 results.

BUMPED by request. Unfortunately, there is a lot of wrong information being discussed and shared. Even reputable regional media are giving inaccurate information, making wrong interpretations {LINK}, and generally getting the explanations wrong. Additionally, there’s general misinterpretations of ordinary outages based on the day of the week (Sunday) and bad weather in the Northeast {ex Twitter Thread}.All of these #BidensEmptyShelves assumptions, which are being heightened by increased attention and social media, are leading to confusion.
An empty retail shelf or case for a 24, 36 to 48-hour period is not, I repeat, NOT, part of a systemic supply chain disruption. Those are mostly location and regional specific out

President Joe Biden is planning a dramatic speech on voting rights in Georgia on Tuesday, focusing on the newly passed election integrity laws in the state.
The president is expected to use the issue of voting rights to call for reform of the Senate filibuster rules and condemn Republicans, according to a Politico preview of the speech.
“We are doubling down, kicking it into another gear, we are going right to the belly of the beast, or ground zero, for voter suppression, voter subversion and obstruction,” White House director of the Office of Public Engagement Cedric Richmond told Politico.

Democrat Sen. Jeff Merkley (D-OR) on Monday admitted House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) husband’s stock trading activity sways her legislative judgment.
While American workers are not privy to much of the information that high-ranking members of Congress possess, Pelosi believes lawmakers and their spouses should be permitted to continue trading stocks with a small degree of transparency.
“Speaker Pelosi is an amazing leader, but on this issue I disagree with her completely,” Merkley said. “When members hold individual stocks it can’t help but influence their thinking on policies and tax laws that affect their value.”

I am not a lawyer and I skipped listening to the arguments over the vax mandate because the mandates are patently unconstitutional.
(snip)
The court will render a decision in a few weeks that will disappoint true Americans by giving the mandate argument credence. In fact, I suspect the Roberts Court will uphold the mandate by tying it to the congressional power of taxation or the good old interstate commerce clause, which justices created a century ago to allow the federal government to do whatever the hell it wants.(snip)Here is the decision I want: No. How about just plain no?

Looks like Rochelle at CDC is floating more trial balloons. This got a lot of publicity, and hopefully the SCOTUS is paying attention:

This headline is from almost a year ago. But instead of promoting exercise and weight loss, the corrupt public health establishment has spent the entire year pushing for lockdowns, masks, school closures and "vaccine" passports. CDC study finds about 78% of people hospitalized for Covid were overweight or obese

Caught under a black sky and pouring rain, laden with groceries and a dysfunctional scooter, one elderly Florida woman needed an everyday hero. Instead of one, she got four.
In a world where it may seem that genuine kindness and heroism are among the quality goods suffering from supply chain problems, these unexpected heroes were hanging out at a 7-Eleven in Seminole County, Florida. The four young men, seasonal workers doing a construction project (snip), were on their break when they saw the woman in need.
While others may have coveted precious break time, these men left what they were doing and pushed the septuagenarian woman, her scooter, and her groceries uphill

The deceitful portrayal of the January 6 protest as an insurrection is a tactic to divide the nation and impose a dictatorship. With big-tech censorship and regime-media manipulation, the false narrative has garnered momentum and is paving the way for further erosion of the electoral and judicial systems.
The January 6 event could not have been an insurrection. It had zero chance of overthrowing the government, which was not even the intent of the protest.(snip)

COOK COUNTY, Illinois — Some cities are resisting a vaccine passport system that was established last week in Cook County, Illinois.
The county is a Democratic Party stronghold and is the largest in the state. (snip)
But not everyone is on board with the requirement that restaurants, bars, and fitness centers “must require any individual 5 years of age and older to show proof that they are fully-vaccinated against COVID-19 with an approved vaccine in order to enter the establishment.”
“So far leaders from Orland Park, Niles, Morton Grove and Lincolnwood have chosen to not enforce the vaccine mandate in their towns,” (snip)Tinley Park will also refuse to

The southwest border during President Joe Biden’s first year in office reached historic levels of illegal crossings, pulling agents off the front line and leaving large swaths of the border unpatrolled. Drugs, especially fentanyl, flowed in, and overdose deaths are at an all-time high.
“What we’re experiencing now on the southwest border is a complete, utter catastrophe,” Mark Morgan, former acting commissioner of Customs and Border Protection (CBP), which oversees Border Patrol, told The Epoch Times on Jan. 7.
“We have lost control of the southwest border.”

Among the boldest and eye-brow raising political moves by embattled Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev within the past days that grabbed international headlines was his ordering the arrest of Kazakhstan's powerful former intelligence chief, Karim Massimov, on the charge of high treason.
Indicating that amid widespread fuel price unrest which quickly became aimed squarely at toppling Tokayav's rule there's a simultaneous power struggle within the government, Massimov had headed the National Security Committee (KNB) up until his Thursday sudden removal and detention. (snip) a photo has resurfaced, currently subject of widespread speculation which shows Joe Biden and Hunter Biden posing with the now detained Kazakh security chief Karim Massimov, along with
