Glenn Youngkin Taps Ed Secretary Deeply
Linked To The Critical Race Theory Education Swamp

Original Article

Virginia Republican Gov.-elect Glenn Youngkin was elected to stop critical race theory in public schools, and he has promised to do so in office. Yet the woman he’s appointed for state education secretary, Aimee Rogstad Guidera, has numerous professional and financial ties to organizations that underwrite the spread of critical race theory, a racist philosophy that pits Americans of different bodily hues against each other and smears those born into paler skin.

Comments:

Mr. Youngkin is not inspiring much confidence....

I have repeatedly commented here that he is another one of these 'out of nowhere' folks who says he's "conservative". It worked with Trump, but not with Romney or Jeff Flake clone, they both claimed to be conservatives, too. You may be screwed again, Virginia. Always risky without an ACTUAL record of performance in a lower elected office.

I swear, these politicians "have their heads where the sun don't shine!" as my old East Tennessean friend used to say about the stupid dolts he had to deal with daily. These people are tone deaf, like the Manhattan DA. Youngkin is off to a bad start if he lets this nomination get through. I hope the Republican legislature in VA reject this woman, if that's how things work in VA. But again, it's not my problem Virginians.

I’ve been many things in my life. Being a Republican was and will NEVER be one of them. I’m not a troll. I’ve been on this web site for years. From the beginning in fact. I’m 110% MAGA but as proud as I am that I walked away from the Democratic Party, I’m even more proud that I never fell for all the flag waving conservative talking Republicans spewing their nonsense on FOX News. You need a list? McConnell McCain Graham Makorsky Collins Cheney Romney Chief Justice Roberts *( Kavanaugh, Barrett ?) KUNTziger Crenshaw Gowdy Chaefetz Cruz — sorry I have to go to work. Visions of Trump's first two years in office. His advisors advised him to pick the wrong people and the first two years it was like a revolving door with people leaving left and right. Youngkin like Trump is a non-politician and is relying on people in politics to help pick his people. Trump learned and so might Youngkin that people in politics only know other people in politics.

The 2024 Election Is Being Rigged Right
Now In Plain Sight

The news cycle this week has been understandably dominated by the FBI’s raid on former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida, where armed agents were supposedly looking for classified documents the FBI believes were improperly removed from the White House at the end of Trump’s term, in violation of federal law. But the FBI raid is just a piece of a much larger story that’s playing out in slow motion and in plain sight: the rigging of the 2024 presidential election.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi shoulders much of the blame for the security breakdown at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, a preliminary report from Republican investigators Reps. Jim Banks and Rodney Davis determined. The Capitol Police (USCP) were half-staffed on Jan. 6, Pelosi’s House Sergeant at Arms denied multiple requests for National Guard assistance from the Pentagon and the USCP Chief in the days leading up to Jan. 6, officers were poorly equipped and had insufficient riot shields and helmets, and they were never trained to handle a riot even after the riots of 2020, the investigation shows, according to Banks.

President Biden really does not want the public to know about his federal takeover of election administration. Dozens of members of Congress have repeatedly asked for details, to no avail. Good government groups, members of the media, and private citizens have filed requests under the Freedom of Information Act. Not a single one has been responded to. All signs indicate a concerted effort to keep the public in the dark until at least after the November midterm elections. The lack of transparency and responsiveness is so bad that the Department of Justice and some of its agencies have been repeatedly sued for the information.

If there is one thing that 2020 has taught me, it is that the real political and cultural divide in our country is not between Republicans and Democrats, or even conservatives and liberals, but between traditionalists and progressives. At the core of progressivism is not the optimistic American belief that things are improving and that our children can live better lives than we did, but the belief that man is a perfectible product of evolutionary forces. Rather than being made in God’s image and then fallen, progressives believe we must throw off the shackles and prejudices of the past in order to move forward to build utopia.

The Supreme Court on Monday turned down a request to salvage a Kansas law that required residents to provide proof of citizenship when registering to vote, despite pleas from Kansas lawyers and almost 20 red states. Kansas's red-state allies used the case to mount a broader attack on a legal test that in their view gives judges too much power in election-security disputes. Former Kansas secretary of state Kris Kobach (R.) championed the law and personally defended it in court against an ACLU lawsuit.  The Secure and Fair Elections (SAFE) Act required Kansans to produce documentary proof of citizenship when registering to vote.
