Florida Republicans outnumber registered Democrats for the first time in the state’s history, as Blue State COVID refugees tick the Big R on their voter registrations.
Twitter user TimDCpolitico took Florida’s voter rolls from March 31 of 2020 and compared them to the latest figures. The results, he says, are “jaw-dropping,” and I can’t think of a better way to describe them.
Out of over 14 million registered voters, last year Democrats held the edge with 37.38% of registrations compared to the GOP’s 35.28%. (The remaining four million or so — around 26% — were independents or members of minor parties.)

When all the illegal aliens register as leftist and socialist Democrats Florida will be back to square one!

Don't trust all those "red registering" wokesters who moved out of the northeast because their northern votes impacted them negatively. They voted for what they left - they'll do it again in Florida.

C'mon, man.
Can't you just accept that these people have learned the lesson we keep saying they should learn.
They escaped the Hell of Blue & are now enjoying the Red warmth of Freedom.
Celebrate!

“Covid-refugees” is a good descriptive term. My youngest and his wife are seriously thinking of moving there, across the country, away from all family, because they are so concerned with the erosion of freedoms they are witnessing in Cali. They both have solid jobs and are somewhat protected in far far Northern California, but it’s not going to take much more to push them out of the state. Both have been vaxxed to keep their jobs but both have said they won’t get a booster.
I have known Californians who have moved to Florida. Every single one was conservative.
Wish we could clone de Santis and put one of him in every red state.

Looks like Florida is the only rationally governed state right now. The others ( esp in the NE) are left wing Yahoos

The problem, the scary part of the problem, is that this wu-flu is being leveraged so as to compel people to agree with free-range mail-in balloting. Therein lies the death by fraud of our republic. This "flu" is just the Trojan Horse for massive election fraud and ensuing constitutional slaughter, from which we will not recover - if we lose '22 or '24. Florida can look toward it's fine governor, Ron DeSantis but the rest of us must fight for ourselves against this connived and pernicious attempt to strip America of those who built it, and sell the golden goose for chump change.
RESIST !

Poster #4, our daughter and SIL moved to Florida this past summer from the Seattle area. They do like warm weather but the main reason was Washington state is so left-wing. Our daughter works for a National company and she has been working from home for about three years, before the pandemic started. They want us to move and our other daughter lives in Texas and she wants us to move there, but at our age, its pretty hard to leave where we've lived all our lives.

I suspect that whats happening is that Republicans are leaving blue states. Red states are getting redder and blue states are getting blue'er.
The upside is that redrawing the borders will be easier after the split.

Just a word of warning before everyone gets all excited.
Did you ever hear of infiltration?
Dems do it all the time. DeSantis has been a thorn in their sides. So have some other less well known conservatives. This could be a plan to dilute the voter base, in particular in states that have been holding to the Constitution. Be wary.
They'd love to primary our best prople out of office.

I hope DeSantis either decides to stay in office in Florida if Trump decides to run (which he seems to be doing) or has found a person of like mind and strength to prepare for succeeding him. Good, effective conservative Republicans are so rare that we can't take for granted that Florida will continue on its path once DeSantis is gone.

I live in a state that is a destination for fleeing Californians. Haven't met one yet who brought California politics with them.

It never fails-- whenever an article appears with good news, immediately a whole bunch of posters try to turn it into bad news. It is as if they need, deeply need, to be pessimistic and negative. Need to whine. "Never mind what this article says that is encouraging-- it's really all still bad, it will always be bad, very bad for us. They will win, we will lose...."

What I find dismaying is that people appear to assume that the next elections will be legal rather than blatant fraud. The crooked machines, mail-in voting, buying of votes, voting stopped and added to, etc. must be stopped or nothing changes. We look to SCOTUS ... are we naive?

We moved from California to North Carolina along with our daughter and son-in-law. We are all conservative. A lot of our conservative friends have also abandoned California, so don't assume the flood is locust-like blue creatures. We moved into a NC neighborhood where the majority of residents are from other states. Overall, the neighborhood is solidly conservative.
Look on the positive side. It is quite possible that these Florida data are not outliers and red states are actually becoming redder!

Illegals cant register to vote in Florida. You need a valid Florida Drivers license and a valid social security number to register to vote. In order to get a drivers license you need a valid certified birth certificate and social security card.

This looks like the time of separation. At our house, we think of it as Israel leaving Egypt and fleeing to the land of Goshen. There was darkness in the land of Egypt, but there was light in the land of Goshen. Light is being separated from darkness today. We believe God is calling out His children from the world and separating themselves from the works of darkness. We are closer than ever to 666, the Mark of the Beast where you cannot buy or sell. (like the next step is vaccine passport microchip.)

I don't know about Florida, but here in Maryland if your registered as a Republican, you can only vote for Republican candidates in the primary. Same for registered Democrats. If it's the same in Florida, watch for who gets elected in the Republican primary. If it's a Rino, then you can pretty much bet the out of towners are still left of center.

So what. I the Republican Party is hellbent on preventing President Trump from getting back into the Whitehouse, what difference will GOP control of Florida or any state or the congress make? It will just go back to the status quo, while America declines. I am not interested in the status quo. Only MAGA will make a difference, not the GOP. Time and time again they have proven they are untrustworthy.
