Florida resident tells ‘woke’ New

An angry Floridian has a message for their snowbird neighbors: If you’re woke, go back to New York. A number of cars with New York license plates parked on Palm Beach streets received notices on their windows over the weekend urging them to leave if they lean left politically, police said. “If you are one of those ‘woke’ people — leave Florida. You will be happier elsewhere, as will we,” reads the missive, typed in all capital letters. (Snip) Concerned citizens reported the letters to the Palm Beach Police Department on Sunday but after a brief investigation, cops determined a crime hadn’t been committed.

The Covid Passports they are so fond of pushing should include the requirement that people from the New England States (as well as NJ, CA, WA, OR, and CO) in particular are prohibited from moving to Florida or Texas. They have fouled their own nest, don't do it to ours.

FTA, "“America was founded on freedom of religion and thought,” a former New Yorker who now lives in Palm Beach told the Palm Beach Daily News, which first reported the notices." Yeah, that's exactly why you got a letter. Its OK to have freedom of thought until someone expresses a thought other than fawning love for all that is woke' NY transplants. I bet the moron New Yorker has no clue how hypocritical his response is. Go back to the Hadeshole you help create. Leave the rest of us the Hades alone.

When I lived in Florida, for many years, NY folks were always very tiresome. Loud, mouthy and pushy and often telling "how we do it back home"....which was always so much better. I was raised to be polite, so while I THOUGHT "then why don't you go back there?" several times, I never told them to their faces. I'll never forget the first day at college, going to a dorm cafeteria for breakfast and hearing a LOUD, very nasal female voice with a strong NY accent screeching (a great approximation of Edith Bunker, really) "Hey, Delores, why do they have mashed potatoes for breakfast?" LOTS of snickers across the room as those of us who had lived in the south most or all of our lives realized that this clearly NY loudmouth had no idea what grits were, and was so uncouth as to announce her ignorance to the whole cafeteria. My wife was my girlfriend at the time, and we were in line for breakfast together and both had a good laugh then and many times over the years since.

One of the most depressing sights we can see here in back woods WV is a New York plate. It usually means either someone is going to get mugged, someone is outbidding a local for a piece of property, or a job is about to be taken by an obnoxious thug with a chip on his shoulder. Please, stay home. You made your state into the cesspool it is, now stay there. Dont ruin my state too.
