It’s become common knowledge even in the most feverish of left-wing fever swamps that white progressives in reality do not give a royal rip what the minority groups who they claim to want to represent and protect really think about the issues facing Americans of all backgrounds every day.
We’ve seen this on a number of “woke” fronts over the last decade or so, with one recent example being the prog left’s obsession with canceling the Washington Redskins, excuse me, Washington Football Team because they previously refused to back down from using a name that appeared to primarily offend white liberals and not most Native Americans

I always thought Latinx was the LGBTQ tern for Latinos who weren't male, weren't female, the PC "non-binary" term for people who just can't decide boy or girl.

I don't even try to keep up with their silly words. Stupid, pointless and I will NOT let them define the terms of the discussion.

Just as Rush knew very early on that he was born to do radio, I knew I was born to teach Spanish. Even though I was from an Irish Catholic family, I inhaled, devoured and consumed Spanish language, culture, and history. From a very early age, I could not get enough. Eventually, I took 5 years of Spanish classes in 4 years of high school Later I saved up enough to attend the University of Salamanca in Spain. Besides teaching Spanish, I also taught GED in Spanish.
Spanish language and culture has explicit male and female gender delineated in so many ways, it is difficult to find the areas that are not gender specific. Most words have either male, or female connotations, and the idea of making them gender neutral is ridiculous.
To the leftist creepozoids that will attempt this anyway , we say, don't go away mad, just go away.

Typically, the real crazies on left wandering the earth to disrupt and to be offended are mostly white women. I have a picture in my head of overweight, tattooed white women. You can see them marching in the front with BLM using bull horns sometimes it's more whites than blacks. It's the same when it comes to Native Americans in this case the Latino community, I rather use the word Hispanic.
I always said take the fight to them don't let them set the agendas then move on to ruin something else. The left loves to glam onto words to make it their own then overuse them just like Latinx, Latina it's insulting to hear. MAGA

My parish has a lot of members who are originally from Mexico, Guatemala and El Salvador. They HATE the term Latinx!

The equalivalent insult would be to call everybody from Poland, Britain, France, and all of the other middle European countries "Euro-peons" or "Middle Earth Whites." Hispanics are just as different according to their country of origin, but whatever keeps woke white leftists busy on trivial nonsense and not bothering sane people is fine with me.

Since these Spanish-speaking people are such a 'tight-knit' group, why not call them....Spanx?

I think “latino” should be retired. It and “Latina” are Spanish words. The English word, “latin” is adequate. Hispanic is more accurate and is English. I am offended when foreign words are foisted on us rather than such words organically entering our language through acceptance.

I recently saw a commercial for an AIDS drug that used the term "assigned female at birth". WTH is that!?
