Adele is reportedly 'paying $58million' for Sylvester Stallone's Beverly Hills mega mansion which sat on the market for the better part of the year. The 33-year-old vocal powerhouse is adding more real estate to her Los Angeles portfolio and is 'in escrow for Sly's massive home,' according to TMZ sources. The 18,587 square-foot home was designed by Richard Landry and is situated in the exclusive guard-gated enclave of North Beverly Park, and boasts eight-bedroom and 12-bathrooms.Sylvester had been working hard to sell the mega mansion that he purchased in the '90s, and initially listed the beautiful home for $110million, but there were no takers.

And to think I downsized four years ago from 2700 sq ft to 1700 sq ft cause 2700sq ft was too big for the two of us.

So the stars don't really believe in the equity they say they are for.

Only 12 bathrooms? I’d have to pass on that.

Beautiful home, but has the fatal flaw of being located in California. Would be grossly overpriced at $58M anywhere else.

Why, under the sun, should anyone, literally anyone, care about this?

How convenient that Beverly Hills has an exclusive gun store where Adele can purchase her security.

I think it’s funny that they think 3.5 acres of land is “massive”. Ha! They are SO out of touch with America.

I wonder if Mayor Garcetti has done the math on lost tax revenue of all of the stars and businesses leaving Los Angeles. I'm thinking no.

No need to feel sorry for Stallone, he has an equally luxurious home in Miami.

FTA: "Sly (born Michael) reportedly financed the sale with a $15M, 30-year mortgage."
People who are smart with money always use someone else's.
Poor old Sly, all those plastic surgeries are making his aging face look like a thrice-hand-me-down catcher's mitt.

I really loved Adele's first album, but since then she has hopped on the "woke" train. Black boyfriend, friends with Oprah etc. Her special was terrible except for the last song. It was from Her first album.

With that kind of money she'll soon be howling at the moon with the rest of them.

My investment advisor clarified this issue for me decades ago. "What is something worth?"
"It's worth exactly what someone is willing to pay for it."
Clearly the estate WASN'T worth $110 million, it is worth $58 million.

Nice property but with only 3.5 acres not worth it. Maybe if it had a couple hundred acres of good corn ground...

I'm surprised Adele has that kind of money being that she's had only one real hit song and appears to record an album once every five years. I suspect the money to buy this place came from Oprah who seems to be her best bud.

Why doesn't the government buy it to help the "unhoused" on the streets of LA?? (/sarc)

A black boyfriend makes her woke, poster 13? Seriously. Is the black boyfriend woke, or do you have something else in mind for him? Good grief!

3.5 acres in that location is indeed massive, since most estates are lucky to have maybe half to 1 acre of land. People like Adele buy properties like this, mainly because when they are having parties and people staying over for business, they have room to have those guests, and nobody feels squeezed. I have never been so glad for my house up to now after reading these articles. Mortgage free, and except for the tax bill, all ours.
