“We are grateful to The Washington Post, The New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications. . .[for] their promises of discretion for almost forty years. . . [t]he work is now much more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a World Government. . . The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national auto-determination practiced in past centuries.” David Rockefeller to the Trilateral Commission, 1991.
This statement, made thirty years ago, means that the conspiracy to replace our Constitutional Republic began forty years before that—1951—with the assistance of respected journalists. Seventy years of concerted effort

Recently ousted Democratic Nassau County (N.Y.) Executive Laura Curran told "Watters' World" on Saturday that her party is conveying weakness and faces a "bloodbath" in the 2022 midterms if it doesn't step up.
LAURA CURRAN: Unfortunately, my party, the Democratic Party, just conveys weakness right now. It almost feels like elder abuse with what's going on with President Biden. He has a hard time putting a sentence together. I think everyone gets nervous listening to him talk, he's going to mess up. What we need always, and especially now, is someone who exudes confidence and competence. Someone who sets a reassuring tone.

Economically illiterate leftists in university posts teaching economics have come up with the perfect solution to Joe Biden's raging inflation: price controls.
The kind that Fidel Castro, Hugo Chávez, the Chicoms, Zimbabwe, and the Soviets have done to turn their countries into communist paradises.
Such as this one, from a low-level wokester academic, spouting her "wisdom" to millions of other leftists in the pages of the left-wing Guardian:
We have a powerful weapon to fight inflation: price controls. It’s time we use it | Isabella Weber https://t.co/K7xJki2zRi

What does crime cost?
Big question, I know. But as we have just finished up one of the worst years for crime in American history, in terms of unexpected and painful growth of various types of crime, it is worth considering the human cost of this epidemic.
We can quote statistics until the cows come home, but eyes glaze over, and the impact may be lost. Numbers and percentages are just figures on spreadsheets and graphs, impersonal and unrelatable.
So, on this dawn of a new year, please allow me to share a personal experience with crime.

A new climate panic is gripping the far-Left profiteers of doom. Those few of Them who are climate scientists have made fame and fortune by telling us the world is toast unless the once-free West (though responsible for only a fifth of the world’s sins of emission) commits economic hara-kiri. The cost of placating climate Communism is already in the quadrillions.
However, They are becoming aware that Their official climate narrative is rooted in a grave error of physics – an error so elementary that it can be described here. At a vital point in Their calculation of how much warming we may cause, They forgot the Sun was shining.

An Alexandria, Virginia K-8 private Christian school that is the city’s first hybrid-model education program, with students meeting for classroom instruction and tutoring on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and completing schoolwork assignments at home on Mondays and Thursdays with their families, has taken a strong stand counter to the prevailing practices adopted at public schools across the nation, announcing they are returning to pre-COVID health policies. Allison Morgan, the founder and head of The Classical Christian Conservatory of Alexandria (CCCA), posted a message to the school’s parents, asserting that the school would not tolerate “disruptive, rolling classroom shutdowns,” adding, “we cannot allow the success of our mission CORRECTION*

Vice President Kamala Harris struggled to give a coherent answer when asked about the economy and inflation during a Sunday interview on CBS.
Harris appeared on "Face the Nation" when host Margaret Brennan asked her on the issues of inflation going into the "third year" of a pandemic. "Was it wrong to consider inflation transitory? These price spikes seem like they’re going to be with us for a while," Brennan asked.
The question referred to a previous statement pushed by White House press secretary Jen Psaki that insisted inflation was only "transitory" and should go down within the next year.
Since then economists have admitted inflation has only gotten worse

Late last week the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals removed a stay on the Biden administration’s vaccine mandate via OSHA for companies that employ more than 100 workers.
A three-judge panel in a 2-1 decision dissolved the stay previously granted by the 5th Circuit of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration “Emergency Temporary Standard” which would force employers with 100 or more workers to either require vaccination — or force employees to undergo weekly testing and wear masks at all times.
On Monday, the United States Supreme Court agreed to hear emergency appeals and Justice Brett Kavanaugh — who oversees the 6th Circuit

Golfer Phil Mickelson is known for his incredible short game. However, this past week, Mickelson was more interested in defining an endgame — to COVID, that is. (snip) Serious question since I'm not a dr. If omicron is contagious but not deadly (25,000 cases in Africa with no deaths), why try and control it? Why not let it go and let people get it and develop immunity? Especially for those who won't get vaccinated? Pls, no hate, I'm just curious.

In the movie Aliens Newt, who has witnessed her family’s grisly end and survived being hunted by their monstrous killers, asks Ripley why adults tell little kids there are no monsters. Events since 2016 make that question more resonant now than at the movie’s release. Evidence suggests there are powerful actors among us whose intentions, capabilities, and disregard for anyone else effectively render them implacable enemies of humanity. No one sane wants to reach that conclusion; no one rational can avoid it anymore in light of the facts.
[Snip] Joe Biden...decades in public office his reputation became fixed as slow-witted, unprincipled, self-promoting, gaff-prone, and vindictive.

The Environmental Protection Agency announced Monday that all new cars that aren’t electric must average 55 miles per gallon by 2026.
This amounts to a Great Leap Forward of almost 20 miles per gallon from the currently ordered 36 miles per gallon that all new cars must achieve, else their manufacturers be punished for making them via “gas guzzler” fines applied to them.
Which are then passed on to the people who buy them. Which makes it progressively more difficult to afford them.
That being the point of the fines, you understand.
The Biden administration considers it their right and duty to punish you for buying the car you want

Big Pharma company Pfizer recently bought another pharmaceutical company specializing in producing heart medication. Coincidentally, some of these heart medications can counteract the heart problems caused by Pfizer’s Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) mRNA vaccine.
Pfizer recently signed an agreement with Arena Pharmaceuticals to purchase the company. Arena is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical firm based in San Diego that specializes in developing immuno-inflammatory treatments. At the time of its acquisition, Arena was also expanding its capabilities “to study cardiovascular conditions like acute heart failure and microvascular obstruction.”
Arena’s current portfolio indicates that it has several development-stage pharmaceuticals developed for gastroenterological, dermatological and – most importantly for Pfizer – cardiological use.
