A passenger volunteered to “quarantine” for nearly five hours in a plane toilet last week after testing positive for Covid aboard a flight from the US to Iceland. Michigan-based teacher Marisa Fotieo says she had taken two PCR tests that returned negative results before embarking on the journey, but upon feeling unwell on the Icelandair flight, took a rapid antigen test somewhere over the Atlantic. Sounds like a Tik Tok stunt. Who in their right mind would test themselves mid flight?

If this report isn't utter Bee Es, how long were the lines to use the remaining toilets? How many people did she "attempt to murder" as she walked from her aircraft toilet quarantine to make her way to the hotel where she quarantined herself for the next 10 days? (She's said to be a teacher, which immediately makes her story highly suspect virtual signaling.)

Sorry, folks, but this story is real. She's a close family friend. I've been following the whole episode for about ten days via texts with her father. P.S. Airplane secret that apparently some people don't know -- there is more than one bathroom on a commercial overseas flight.

Cable news ratings are down across the board this week — traditionally one of the slowest in news — with one exception: Fox News show The Five, which drew a whopping 3.12 million total viewers and 406,000 in the demo. (NB: Because of the holiday weekend, Nielsen ratings are delayed, hence why Monday’s numbers are only coming out today). Those numbers would be impressive in a normal news cycle. But in the week between Christmas and New Year’s, when many cable news hosts are on vacation and their show are hosted by substitutes, it’s particularly impressive. For example: Tucker Carlson

New data made public earlier this week by the U.S. Census Bureau makes clear that millions of Americans are leaving Blue high-tax, high-crime, high-COVID-mandate Democratic states and moving to Red Republican states where taxes are lower, the police aren’t being defunded, and churches still thrive. Consider the contrast between Texas and Idaho on the one hand and New York and the District of Columbia on the other, as described by the Census Bureau (emphasis added):
