Mayor-elect Eric Adams plans to make a decision this spring on whether to mandate vaccines for New York City public school students starting in fall 2022, according to a newly released outline of his COVID-19 policies. Adams’ one-page plan also states that he will keep Mayor Bill de Blasio’s private-sector vaccine mandate that took effect Monday with a “focus on compliance, not punishment”—an approach similar to the outgoing mayor’s promise that city inspectors will “ideally avoid penalties.”(Snip)The next mayor had previously not expressed a definitive stance on the policy.(Snip)The plan notes that “all other current mandates” that de Blasio put in place

Comments:

The new boss, same as the old boss, only with the preferred super-deep tan. Won't be long before Rotten Apple restaurants and museums and other such venues receive more "federal" bailout money because the insane vaxx mandates have chased away all the tourist business.

I called it. He's JAFD, (Just Another _______ Democrat)! He will be another Jimmy Walker, the Mayor of NYC during the Depression, going out to the bars in the evening and having a great old time in the bright lights of the city. Unless he backs his police force, nothing will change in that city, vaccines or no vaccines.

I have a New Year's wish - that everyone stay away from New York. (state and city) Unfortunately, my daughter the ballerina, has to audition in NYC from time to time, and loves it there.i And when my #2 son, an actor, was younger, he had to audition in NYC for acting parts in the various States, for dinner theater. (Broke my own wish on Monday - went to Buffalo and bought a new (used) boat, 16 foot Starcraft, open seats, am/fm/blue tooth (whatever that is) radio, 90 h.p.Johnson O/B! (The Moderna vaccine, as I expiained a few days ago, made me do it.)
