Sarah Weddington, one of the attorneys who argued the landmark abortion case Roe v. Wade in 1973, died at the age of 76, a former student said Sunday. (snip) The daughter of a Methodist minister, Weddington was born in 1945 in Abilene, Texas. She argued Roe in 1972 and won election to the Texas House of Representatives in 1973, where she served three terms. (snip) According to Weddington's book, she traveled (to) Mexico for an illegal abortion in 1967, during her third year of law school.

OP: well, she was going to die sometime, almost 50 years later isn't really such a surprise.

Well, if she ever had any questions about the morality of abortion, she has the answers now. Miserere nobis.

Her life on Earth is now over.
I wonder how her meeting with the real judge ended.
Eternal res grant unto her O Lord.

Eternity is a long time to be sorry for the decisions we make in this life time.

Maybe from where she is she can look up and see the faces of the tens of millions of aborted children that her efforts brought to an untimely death.
Maybe she can see their cherubic faces through the sulfurous fumes.

Like others, I hope she repented. Otherwise…
I am a sinner and am so glad God sent us his Son so that we can be forgiven of our sins. We must all pray for forgiveness and reconciliation for all who seek it.
I pray for my soul, and for all my fellow members of the Lucianne.Com family.

I vaguely remember this gal, and may she rot in the hot fires of Hades for enabling the genocide of so many babies in this nation.

So...based on HER experience with going to Mexico for an abortion when she was in law school was the impetus ...she has murdered millions of babies and constructed a company called planned parenthood that sells body parts ...what a legacy...wonder what her negotiating skills got her with God...

May she be forgiven of her sins ... if she truly regrets them!
And for penance, she needs to change the diapers of all the 60+ million babies she helped kill.

Since we die and leave our earthly bodies behind, there is NO diaper-changing for non-corporeal beings!! The millions and millions of innocent unborn babies are most likely in Heaven with Our Dear Lord. They did nothing wrong, but were brought into existence and annihilated by others. May those who were responsible for this massive human carnage seek God's Loving and Merciful Forgiveness. Amen.

Is this a real story? I mean, why are we supposed to care about her death as it relates to decades of murdering children in the womb? How many women who aborted their children died this year? See?

So, Pol Pot, Hitler, Stalin and Mao are all eagerly waiting to great a fellow club member, before handing her a flaming shovel and showing her where to use it.

#18 --- Let's not chat about it but --- with all due respect --- you don't know that!
I prefer to think that Dante was right.
Read "The Inferno" . I can't decide if this accomplice after the fact to murder belongs in the First Ring of the Seventh Circle --- or the Ninth Ring of the Eighth Circle.
