The rapid decline of Hollywood’s share of the Chinese film market – the largest in the world as of 2020, when the Chinese coronavirus pandemic shut American cinemas and productions down – has created a small but growing market of Western actors landing big roles as the villains in communist propaganda movies.
Hollywood studios have spent much of the past decade attempting to court Chinese audiences, which necessitates groveling to the Chinese Communist Party lest their productions get censored or simply outlawed in the country. The American entertainment establishment has tried everything – from spending heavily on low-intellect and inoffensive comic book movies to erasing even a suspected mention

I ain’t watching no Commie Chinese movies, not even on Netflix. If there’s enough people like me in this country, the Chi-Coms will have to peddle their wares elsewhere.

Whatever Hollywood is producing is absolute crap including any Chinese propaganda movies. Nothing is new and original just redo's like Westside Story which is bombing and deservedly so.

Disturbing to hear knowing there is a nearly bottomless supply of F-List Hollywood actors waiting tables, parking cars and looting stores.

We've always known what kind of people make up the hollywood crowd. Hopefully they all move to China.

We haven't been to a theater since "The Passion of the Christ". Sometime at the turn of the century IIRC. The old Hollywood crowd are turning so fast in their graves it might cause an earthquake.

We need to revive the House Committee on Un-American Activities. There is fertile ground to be tilled there. I cannot imagine how quickly Americans have embraced the vile philosophy of communism. We only have to look at history to see where this is going to lead. The Chinese are so transparent in their intentions to shape this world into one of their choosing and the ignorant Hollywood crowd is assisting them. Frankly, I have abandoned all interest in what the entertainment world has to offer. It is politically correct to the point of groaning, it is anti-American in its story telling, and worst of all it borders on depravity. There is no real value to it in my opinion and I don’t feel I am missing out in the least.

I remember Rush talking about this years ago. What is different now is that we have people who are eager and willing to grovel to Communists and actually want to live in a Communist society because they are dumb leftists.

Identity politic chickens coming home to roost:
"“If Hollywood still cannot really respect and understand Chinese culture and just randomly mixes some Chinese elements into their films, it will lose a large amount of its fans in China,” the Chinese propaganda outlet Global Times warned in April."

The last film I saw in a theater was American Sniper. And then that idiot, Bradley Cooper, held a fund raiser for Hillary. It appears that actors learn absolutely nothing from the roles they play.

F-List actors heading to Chollywood the new future for them. This is so appropriate, now no one will ever see them again.

Actually, some of the better movies I have seen come out of HK, South Korea and the Singapore/Indonesia area. I don't believe I have seen anything out of Beijing recently. But Hollywood has only itself to blame. Bite the hand that feeds you, don't expect that hand to lay down without a response.

Alec Baldwin can do all of the westerns, he's definitely "F" list now. We can call them Fried Rice Westerns.

It's a shame the Chinese people have no voice or wherewithal to contradict the government. Basically they are like trained seals and are subjugated to the state. They don't own anything ... the government does and are not free and live in fear. If you disobey, they will disappear you.
I believe they were a big part of getting Joey Boy into the White House. It will be interesting to watch the Olympics this year. As for Hollywood, the glory days are over. You hear that Robert De Niro.

I watch my favorite movies on my DVD...no connection to my cable...so they can know what I watch...yesterday I watched You've Got Mail...and enjoyed the story line...even though I dislike Tom Hanks and his comments on high upon his throne on how I should think and feel and talk...I wish he'd just shut up and act...

If it's not another superhero movie coming out of Hollywood, it's not making money. Theaters are dead. It's all about online now. Movies like the remake of Westside story are made for pay per view to capture the illegal's money.

I'd say stay away from these actor's films---except I have never heard of the actors, ever!. However, the Matt Damon's and LeBron James of this world, men who have made fortunes in their respective fields but are greedy for more no matter what, and Disney (how far they have fallen from Walt, who must be turning isn his grave) are another story. Their names are noted well and anything THEY do, from basketball to films to Disney streaming, are totally off my list forever.

When I was a kid, the Japanese were the enemy. The bad guys always wore thick goggly round glasses and had big teeth. Wonder what or who these anti-Americans will look like?
