Intel has apologized for discouraging suppliers from doing business with China's Xinjiang region, after a letter published on its website sparked backlash from a Chinese state-run publication and social media users. Citing government restrictions in multiple countries on products from the area, Intel said they were "required to ensure our supply chain does not use any labor or source goods or services from the Xinjiang region." Now the company is trying to play damage control to quell the ire of their Chinese customers."We deeply apologize for the confusion caused to our respected Chinese customers, partners and the public," Intel said

I make a real effort to NOT buy "made in China" items. Often it is easy, sometimes it seems almost impossible. I have decided to do without a few items that I have not yet been able to find a USA made version of. I despise China, everything about it.

Deindustrialization of the USA is federal government policy, hewing to the international Marxists who want us diminished, debased, and dismantled. Multiple layers of regulatory agencies make it cost-prohibitive if not impossible to manufacture much of anything here, and then there's the vastly overpriced utilities, insurance, ongoing threats of lawsuits, never-ending paperwork that changes by the moment, you name it. Not much can be done on an individual level when nothing is manufactured here anymore, though I've been fighting the good fight since this started during the Klinton years.

Santa Claus is too white, too straight and too male for most young people in the UK today, according to a poll. The modern depiction of Father Christmas as an old white man with a big bushy beard who wears a red and white suit was made globally famous by Coca Cola’s adverts of the 1930s. A survey by YouGov has now found that 60 per cent of 18–24-year-olds in the UK think it is ‘acceptable’ for Santa to be gay. But 41 per cent across all age groups said it was not OK, including 17 per cent of lesbian, gay and bisexual respondents.

Millions of us are experiencing a terrible void in the absence of Rush Limbaugh this Christmas. As we celebrate what may be the last shared American tradition, Christmas, Rush’s absence is palpably felt — his voice is being missed.
