Pentagon issues rules aimed at stopping
rise of extremism

Washington—Warning that extremism in the ranks is increasing, Pentagon officials are issuing detailed new rules prohibiting service members from actively engaging in extremist activities. The new guidelines come nearly a year after some current and former service members participated in the riot at the U.S. Capitol, triggering a broad department review. Senior defense officials tell The Associated Press that fewer than 100 military members are known to have been involved in substantiated cases of extremist activity in the past year, but they warn that the number may grow given recent spikes in domestic violent extremism, particularly among veterans. Officials said the new policy doesn’t largely change what is prohibited,

Comments:

The federal government is controlled at every level by radical Marxists, and yet service members are forbidden from actively engaging in extremist activities. What? Truly a puzzle for the ages.

In fact, the Pentagon is specifically aware of black gang members -- Crips and Bloods -- serving in the military for the express purpose of acquiring firearms and training. There were articles on this proven phenomenon in recent years. Of course, these aren't the violent "extremists" Merrick Garland is interested in. He rather likes them.

They are actually targeting “White Supremacists” who would be as rare as hens teeth in the US military, and will just end up driving any real extremist activities underground. Back when I was in the Army decades ago there were people there mainly from the South who were still in their minds fighting the Civil War, I guess today that would be classified as extremist activity?

And we know exactly who the Pentagon has in its sights…Deplorables or anyone who openly opposes the democrat agenda. It seems to me that the democrats in this administration have the full intention of cramming their unconstitutional agenda down our throats. They seriously want some kind of physical confrontation so they can create the meme that all Trump supporters are domestic terrorists or “insurrectionists” unlike the peaceful protestors on their side who have actually burned down cities, looted businesses and assaulted anyone who dares stand up to their violence. We are in deep trouble when our military are openly hostile to anyone who will not bow their knee to the corrupt democrat party. If things don’t change, this is not going to end well.

#14, they want to get colonels and above all on board with their side if a civil war starts. They will be surprised how that may go. Some officers will stay co-opted by the leftists, but a bunch will actually turn out to be patriots, as will a whole lot of senior sergeants. If things go sideways, I'd bet that a whole lot of the military stays on the Constitution side, and even in the antiConstitutionalist ranks there will be a lot of sabotaging of weapons systems going on. I REALLY, really hope we can avoid that path. There will be nothing good about it, although it may resolve some of this mess. And a lot of us won't be around to see how it comes out.

A group promoting LGBTQ clergy in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America has suspended its first transgender bishop over allegations of “racist words and actions” involving the bishop’s church area and the “Latinx community” in Stockton, California. Two years into the COVID-19 pandemic—and 11 months and a day since he took office—President Biden insisted, “I don’t think anybody anticipated” the dramatic surge in the more infectious Omicron variant amid criticism of his response as lagging. “It all started all of a sudden,” Biden claimed Tuesday when pressed by reporters on his administration’s sluggish response to nationwide coronavirus testing shortages. But moments later, Biden contradicted that claim, saying he did foresee the looming test shortage and that he had been working on a still-vague plan to distribute 500 million rapid tests to Americans by mail. “I knew that was coming,” he followed up

If you aren’t white, you may not be able to go way outside. At least, that appears to be the belief of a North Carolina State University professor. KangJae “Jerry” Lee — of the school’s College of Natural Resources — recognizes the racism keeping you from enjoying the great outdoors. Cultural differences, he asserts, can’t explain why there aren’t more black people fishing, hunting, and hiking. Also an insufficient excuse: income disparity. The instructor laments America’s adventure/nature gap, but he’s bulls-eyed the culprit: systemic racism. Wichita’s KAKE recently jawed it up with Jerry on the lack of outdoor equity.
