Joe Manchin’s Christmas gift to America:
Killing the Build Back Better horror

Original Article

A Merry Christmas from West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin to the American people: He’s killed the bloated, inflation-fueling, misguided welfare-state expansion that was the Build Back Better bill. His position has been clear for months, yet fellow Democrats kept ignoring his objections, even encouraging their voters to threaten him. Manchin finally has had enough. “I cannot vote to continue with this piece of legislation. I just can’t. I’ve tried everything humanly possible. I can’t get there,” Manchin told host Bret Baier on “Fox News Sunday.”

Most of these pukes like AOC that think we should pay off their student loans don't grasp the concept that Senators are supposed to represent the interests of their state, not vote in lockstep for whatever garbage comes down the pike from the House. Manchin is doing just that. Coal mining IS his interest, and Build Back Bolshevik squashes it with greenie crapola and environmental mandates. The 17th amendment is a piece of garbage that took away the role of the Senator, and just turned it into nothing but another version of the House with popular election. Senators are supposed to represent the interest of their state, the House is supposed to represent the interest of the people. Manchin did the right thing here, and should be praised for it.

I am grateful to Joe Manchin and Kirsten Sinema, but I don't want either of them in the Republican Party. We already have 8 Senators who love throwing a monkey wrench into the works on our side. Democrats can keep them—we don't need more Pierre Dilectos on our side.

Pelosi, Schumer, et al can threaten Manchin all they want: WV Senator Joe Manchin holds the "Trump card": he can pull a "Jim Jeffords" any time he wants. Dittos AZ Senator Kyrsten Sinema. Anything physically "bad" happening to either will only confirm "Obamacide" (aka "Arkancide") suspicions that many have held for decades. We put nothing past the Marxist Democrats to achieve their objectives. MAGA types are not your father's "nice" go-along Republicans. We are MORE determined than the Dems.

I still want a simple question answered. If any of this is actually about "critical" infrastructure why is it that this wasn't taken care of on the 17% of GDP they have had to play with since WWII? They let essential things rot while were are still taxed as though we were fighting a world war and their answer is to ask for more? They just admitted they didn't address the critical infrastructure in a bill that askes for trillions of unessential goodies. And there's no shortage of clapping seals praising BBB.

Joe Biden Spews Lies About the Unvaccinated
During His Bumbling COVID Speech

As RedState reported earlier, Joe Biden gave a speech today in which he outlined his “plan” to combat the Omicron variant of COVID-19. Included were outright lies about what is happening in South Africa, where the actual data shows dropping hospitalization rates despite the nation’s heavy caseload. That Biden would take such an approach is hardly surprising. Like many others in positions of power, he sees the coronavirus as a perpetual crisis from which to benefit. Because Omicron’s apparent lack of virulence points toward a way out of the pandemic, the desperation in the president’s rhetoric must escalate. That’s because he needs a scapegoat for his failed policies,

If you aren’t white, you may not be able to go way outside. At least, that appears to be the belief of a North Carolina State University professor. KangJae “Jerry” Lee — of the school’s College of Natural Resources — recognizes the racism keeping you from enjoying the great outdoors. Cultural differences, he asserts, can’t explain why there aren’t more black people fishing, hunting, and hiking. Also an insufficient excuse: income disparity. The instructor laments America’s adventure/nature gap, but he’s bulls-eyed the culprit: systemic racism. Wichita’s KAKE recently jawed it up with Jerry on the lack of outdoor equity.
