Desperate New York City restaurant owners have been forced to get creative to tackle the city's rodent infestation after rat sightings soared by 40percent in 2021 compared to 2019.Restauranteurs have blamed lack of regular trash collection and street-cleaning services during the pandemic era staff shortages for the increase in critters. The problem has become so bad that the savvy New York rats are spoiled for choice in scraps, so it takes a special kind of bait to lure them in - peanut butter Oreo cookies. 'Peanut butter Oreos are the best,' said Jim Webster, Rat Trap Distribution's director of operations, of his secret weapon.

Oreo's work best with mice and rats - don't listen to the peanut butter crowd, Oreo's work better.

At pig races, a single oreo cookie is often the prize in the food trough at the end of the route. There's food for all the racers, but it's the first pig there that gets the oreo... and the pigs know it.

Tip for using peanut butter. The mice are smart and dexterous enough to lick it off without setting the trap off so wrap some thread around it so their teeth will stick and set off the trap. I'm serious.

Tootsie rolls are like crack cocaine to mice, but with rats its hit or miss. And they are smart. I have used a commercial attractant coupled with an electronic trap with success. Next time round I might try the PB oreos. I'm very broad minded!

Texas Democratic Rep. Henry Cuellar said that he's done trying to work with Vice President Kamala Harris on border issues. 'I say this very respectfully to her: I moved on,' Cuellar told The New York Times. 'She was tasked with that job, it doesn't look like she's very interested in this, so we are going to move on to other folks that work on this issue.' Cuellar's gripes originated when Harris said she'd be visiting the border in June and a phone call from his office to hers went unreturned.

As 2022 approaches, Democrats are privately and publicly expressing their frustration with two of their U.S. Senators who continue to back crucial legislation from passing. Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) recently wrecked President Biden’s hopes of destroying federal election integrity laws by not supporting HR1 or ending the Senate filibuster. Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) just crushed Biden’s hope of getting his Build Back Better (BBB) massive spending bill passed. Biden has been pushing to radically federalize elections, in spite of the Constitution.

Counterfactuals, like "conspiracy theories," are frowned upon by those who look guilty when they are posed. Here are three to chew on during the holidays: (1) What if it turns out that the gene therapies marketed as "vaccines" by pharmaceutical companies end up causing more harm than good? What if it becomes obvious that more children die from government-ordered injections than would have ever succumbed to the virus itself? What if the long-term effects of any of these experimental treatments condemn the "vaccinated" to suffer from lifetime health complications created by compromised immune systems, making them more vulnerable to the very diseases the "vaccines" were mandated

From Election Day in 2020 to Inauguration Day 2021, we were told by the Left that democracy was resilient and rightly rid the nation of Trump.
